What team had the most punishing/bruising backfield of all-time

I didn't want the homer pick, but you're absolutely right. In those days, JB could run around you or run through you. -

Damn, I came back to this topic this afternoon to mention The Bus and Chris Fuamatu-Ma'afala. The Bus was so damn hard to pull down. He would wear out the D and when you brought in Fuamatu-Ma'afala it was just unfair. -

That works. I was looking at tandems, but it doesn't necessarily have to be. -
"Children's Worst Nightmares" by Joshua Hoffine - Holy Shit

1 and 6 would have me shitting my pants as an adult. I think I'd lose it and scream like a girl and run around in circles outside my house. -
AP - The next great. We will tell our grandkids about watching him and his amazing season after a crushing injury. Megatron - Humble and elite. Larry Fitzgerald - See above. Definition of a hard worker and a great guy in the community. Drew Brees - I got sick of him for awhile after the Saints Super Bowl win due to the overexposure. Clay Matthews III - Son of one of my favorite Browns players of all-time. It's awesome to see that football family continue to have success in the NFL. Gronk - His exploits off the field are hilarious. I imagine him talking in a 'Hulk' voice. 'GRONK WANT BALL'. Ray Rice - His anti-bullying campaign, investment in the community and overall presence He just seems like a very likable guy that has his shit together. Very smart, very grounded, very good.

Sarge SteVo blots Bay BoneKrusher Trident Ngata Thantos Bucman Mine are unranked. I kept it under 10 and I could have added more, these are just guys I feel are definitely worthy of recognition for their continued support of these forums. Without their addition, both historically and currently, this board would not be the same.

He played some center last year too. I was shocked at the pick to be sure, but I knew it was an option.

So in your senario he still rented a car and still had a guy shot and there were still shell casing along with the gum he bought in the car. So he had other guys pull the trigger and that makes him any smarter or show any more sense?

I'm ok with the Bennett pick. I wasn't enamored with any of the picks at #1 but I know I didn't want Len or Noel after doing some research on them. I hope Noel turns into a KG type player, but he needs to develop a J. Bennett kinda reminds me of Larry Johnson a bit from his highlight reels. Since we already have Tristan Thompson playing the 4, I wonder what we're going to do with him. Perhaps split time between the 4 and 5 with Bennett and Tyler Zeller. Since we needed a SF and didn't go after one, I wonder if the Cavs are hoping to make a deal with another team to send TT and some picks next year?

Sad story via ESPN Long read, but worth it. This is a guy that covered Calvin Johnson in HS. Here is a snip;

Outrageous Injustice - He was 17 she was 15

Well fuck, no date on the article - I had assumed it was somewhat recent. Glad he is out. Still left a lasting impression on him for sure. -
This is a great point. It's an unknown for now.

I don't even see how this is a question. It's clearly the Texans. DM and VJ might prove otherwise in seasons to come, but as it stands now, the Texans have the clear win on this one.

Indeed. What pisses me off the most is this snip from the article. So this is justice? When no one involved thinks he should be in jail for 10 years and a new law in place, he's still in jail for this outdated "crime"? -
BigBen07 as Hodor I lost it on that one.

Isn't he or wasn't he also being sued for shooting a dude in the face? Sad to see such talent wasted if he is indeed guilty. As of right now, things do not look good for him.

And he's been released:

NFL will unveil a new award in 2013: The Deacon Jones Award, given to league's sack leader.
NaTaS replied to NaTaS's topic in General NFL Talk
Great point. I'm glad he lived to see him ranked #1 of all-time sack artists on the NFL network's Top 10 show. It's a fitting award none-the-less, but I agree. It would have been great for him to see this award named in his honor. -
Hell yeah. Alicia Sacromone.

Subtract modern media, and how great is LeBron?
NaTaS replied to BwareDWare94's topic in Other Sports
What? Bill Russell is widely considered the best center of all-time. Hakeem only dominated Shaq when Shaq was just entering the league. I'd put Russell, Abdul-Jabbar, Wilt above Hakeem and while stats don't really mean shit - Shaq does have the upper hand over The Dream. -
If you could add anyone, which one player from another team would you add?
NaTaS replied to AllYouNeedIsLovie's topic in General NFL Talk
Calvin Johnson on Offense Richard Sherman on Defense (Sherman & Haden tandem would be fuckin fun to watch).
