If you have the ability to be a star of course you'd want to be a starter so you can get the massive contract. Dennis Dixon will never have that ability. He is an average QB at best so he should just be loyal to the team that gave him opportunities and a $1.2 million contract. Sitting out and hurting your chances to improve as well as showing disloyalty is the weak thing to do. Going out and doing the job you are assigned is what normal, strong people do.

He's getting paid the same amount of money either way, though. It would be of a benefit to himself, the team and his family if he just showed up to work, like normal employees do, and get better. By doing this, he would improve his chances at getting a better paycheck in the future and ensure better health.

I just don't understand why you wouldn't want to sit on the bench and collect your $1.2 million every season without having to take the hits and shorten your life span. Hell, if I could just go to practice everyday and make $100,000 I'd be happy.

I do not like this signing. He is a very mediocre WR that is not my style. Hopefully a different side to his game unveils itself while in a Vikings uniform. I very much hope he did not receive a significant contract salary-wise.

It has been quite some time. It's nice to see that the board is still active with many of the same regulars.

This is very disappointing for me as a Vikings fan. Marion may have struggled the past two years, but he is still a serviceable running back. I was really hoping the Vikings would bring back the Gopher and get some tough running out of him.

This is a very cool t-shirt design. It attracted my attention with the Africa image in the middle, prompting me to find out what the shirt was about. If I wanted to be picky, I'd say make the part of the frame that the web address is on a little bigger so you can make the type a little larger. If your goal was to get people to visit the website to raise awareness about the cause, you hit it on the nose.
