If the Packers put 50 on us I wouldn't be surprised. It'll be a decent game at best. Sure. We're out for revenge...but how can one team that's played like shit all year give the Packers revenge. I love my Falcons...but tomorrow night will be a long night.

We contained Vick better than I thought we would..but I thought our defense got stops when they need to. I am pretty upset with how our offensive line played..played like pure shit...SAM BAKER. I liked the fact that we got Tony G involed more..something we didn't do last year.

Need better O-line protection and more Turner, but I'll take a victory anyday over the fucking Eagles.

Most Overrated & Underrated in the NFL
ATL_Predator replied to Patriots2994's topic in General NFL Talk
I'd also have to say Brandon Flowers as underrated, he's really a great young corner on a team with a decent defense. Like his skill set, and doesn't gamble on plays..he simply goes up for the ball at the highest point and takes it from receivers. -
I believe the Falcons are taking the South, for one main reason. Not Matt Ryan, Not Ray Edwards, Not Julio Jones, but another guy that's shown how much of a difference he can make when he steps on the field. Jacquizz Rodgers is small, but he's the change of pace running back Atlanta has been looking for...for YEARS. Ever since Norwood's injuries, and Snelling's slow progression, Rodgers provides agility, speed, and pass protection, and he WILL be our third down back. If you look at our team last year, our team was terrible on 3rd down. With that extra dynamic of Rodgers, Matt Ryan will be able to utilize all his targets more readily. Also, something else to note is. Last year the games we lost and won, we relied far too heavily on ball control. Too predictable with Turner and Snelling. Now that we seem to be transitioning to a pass-first offense, we will always be in games no matter what. I really believe Ray Edwards will also take double teams off abraham, and spread the gaps out more for our linebackers on blitz packages. Which in turn, creates more turnovers and relieves the action on our stop-gap secondary...

Most Overrated Teams Going Into the '11-'12 Season

That team in Philadelphia... New Orleans has had a better off-season than Philly has. -
Music trolls are no BUENO...

At least it gives us veteran depth...be nice if he could be a solid player though..not expecting all that much outta him.

BVG is as knowledgeable as Stevo's non-existant penis when it comes to being a coordinator. Our secondary is average at best, but hell bound awful normally...you wanna know why? The way BVG positions our front four is terrible. He's a terrible defensive lineman coach, because our back 7 are all decent..but our front four are the strength of the defense. ...with that said...how the hell are we so awful getting to the QB? Our Run D is good...but how the hell are our dlineman(who are all pretty decent) doing so poorly. BVG my friend. BfuckingVG.

1. Fire both our offensive and defensive coordinators 2. Work more on special teams...terrible looking so far this pre-season 3. Interior o-linemen need to anchor their shit and hold the line, our tackles are doing great protecting the edges, now do your damn jobs Guards and center

Most Overrated & Underrated in the NFL
ATL_Predator replied to Patriots2994's topic in General NFL Talk
Overrated: Mike Vick.. ^what Sarge said Underrated: Josh Freeman is a great young quarterback for the Bucs. He might not have great skill players around him, but he is the one that makes the plays for the Bucs offense. -
Matt Ryan had little to do with that loss...people that say he's anti-clutch are fucking morons to begin with. The sole reason we lost that game is because of that piss ass defense thats being run by damned Brian Van Gorder. None of our running backs (except for Jacquizz(rookie)) are threats in the passing game. For Matt Ryan to put up numbers like he has is incredible, and the late game winning drives that saved our defenses ass.

Who should I be excited about on your roster?
ATL_Predator replied to RazorStar's topic in General NFL Talk
Like Chris D already said with Abe and Douglas...imma have to go with Matt Ryan. Here's why.. His first three seasons, I think people really overrated him, because honestly...without Turner he wouldn't be the kind of quarterback he is now. However...now that he's entering his 4th NFL season..i think this is going to be his year, with him calling a majority of the plays..and not just being told what to do for the most part. With White, Turner, Jones, Rodgers, Douglas, and Gonzalez, behind a very good offensive line, I really believe how far we go depends on him..moreso than our defense. I think our defense has done a good job, and the addition of Edwards will take pressure off our secondary.. SO MATTY ICE GONNA LIGHT IT UP -
Offense: Jacquizz Rodgers..he might be small, but he's not a toothpick. He's a pretty built running back for his size..lightning quick with agility, and isn't afraid to go north-south when he has too. Defense: Sean Weatherspoon...had some injuries last year, but when he played he proved to be a pretty intinctive linebacker that has pretty good potential.

http://www.profootballfocus.com/blog/2011/06/27/making-the-grade-quarterbacks-2008-2010/ Very interesting article..not seeing Brady as a top QB, because of his injury in 08'. I usually agree with PFF's rankings for the most part...but I'm not sure about this list.. Thoughts?
