I watched first class again last night. I don't know what you guys are seeing. It's ok. In fact I would go so far to say I really like it but this movie is not something that blew my mind. I tried to figure out what it is you guys are so enamored with while watching it last night but I guess I just don't see it. The secondary characters are sometimes downright silly, as is Bacon as Shaw. The acting by the leads is really good but there is a lot of cheeseball acting and writing in there too. The story is nothing revolutionary... i dunno its a fun very watchable movie but I don't really understand some of the gushing that goes on about it.

I am fro Syracuse and moved to Atlanta. I like being cold but the summer heat is a lot less depressing than the winter cold.

I think you worry about it too much. However, I agree with you on some level, I just also don't think it matters that much. No one legitimately expects every dude who's ever been scorned to shoot up a mall or matinee of the Smurfs 3. If they do they're nutty, too. I think you may need to find some well adjusted women to hang out with. You seem to attract dumb asses and crazies.

I had a number of issues with the "new" trilogy. None of the involve Ewan McGregor who single handily made the trilogy watchable. He freaking nailed Obi wan. Secondly, Let me say that, on some level, I liked them all. I own them all and I still watch them all and have shown them to my kid. There was a lot of issues with the original trilogy. The plot was lackluster in that you just don't have enough of the background info to give a shit. It COULD have been the highlight of the whole trilogy. In that I mean, Palpatine's power play is a stroke of genius and if they spent the trilogy showing us WAY more of that and way less of the Anakin becoming Vader plot line, especially because the acting was really bad by the lead, I think the movies could have been really really good. Instead we are left with little glimpses of the plan, and a big convoluted war going on in the background that the audience is only half understanding. There's more but that's how I think they could have been way better.

Spider-Man 2 was pretty solid. I haven't watched it for a while so I dunno if it holds up, but when it came out I thought it was one of the best comic book movies I had seen. The other Raimi Spidey's do not hold up at all. The first Amazing Spider-man was pretty good if you ask me. Not best movie evur! kinda material but I went out and bought it. It was better then mediocre but not Nolan Batman great. So about the level of the first Iron Man movie for me.

I don't think speed or lack of speed determines a power back. You can be a power back and be fast. Peterson is a powerful running back he's more north south than east west, but has break away speed that most guys with his playing style don't have. That's one of the things that makes him special. Did either you or your brother file a complaint? Go to the local paper? Those tactics DO work and can affect change. If your police department has people abusing their station then do something about it. Go to their bosses, or the city/ county they work for.

He was not entrapped unless the witness was put up to it by the police. Was he? As far as I can tell the only people saying that are Lambesis' people. They certainly didn't think they could use it as a defense in court, but it doesn't doesn't change that he tried to hire someon to kill his wife for him. It's not out of the realm of possibility but to claim it as truth because Lambesis and his lawyer say it is, is showing obvious bias. I think it's completely possible but I tend to side with people that didn't attempt to hire a hit man to kill their wife, ie the prosecution and police.

Obviously biased options don't particularly help, either.

I don't doubt it happens but I think you're a bit effed up about it. Don't do illegal shit and you have nothing to worry about. Your read on the Lambesis story is pretty one-sided, it seems. I read this article but where was he entrapped? Did the police put the guy up to planting the seed in homeboy's head? No proof about that, from what I can tell just a guy that admittedly attempted to hire a hitman to kill his wife saying the guy did that? Why would you side with that guy? What are you, an idiot? Avant can be relied upon as a role player only, poster who may or may not be ATL. I agree he's not a very good number 2, even, most likely. His best work was in the slot, and he has good hands. Started having some trouble with separation.

Eric Clapton, too. His voice is awesome. It's not an amazing range but as you can tell by list, I'm into other things than just amazing ranges. It's just as, if not more important to have a cool sound or a smooth tone or something that sets it apart. Like I rate Ian Anderson a lot higher than those that require an amazing range to call someone a great singer... Bware. In fact his tone is cool enough that Anderson would warrant consideration. How about Johnny Cash? I feel like i need a completely new list. I already voted but i don't think anyone said Bill Withers or Bob Marley. NNot sure if I'd characterize them as rock music but awesome none the less. There's some female vocalists like Janice Joplin,Liz Phair, Alanis Morrisette and Fiona Apple that could be mentioned.

Meh. If a number of NFL defenders are saying he compares to Sanders, I don't think saying his running game is similar but not as fantastic (which is basically what Dutch was saying) is any big deal. Last season he was simultaneously incredibly shifty and very effective. Able to break big ones, and out of your mouth, tends to take some stuffs at the line trying to do so. Sounds like Sanders, though no one is saying he is as good as Sanders was.
