The position became less of strength in Indy, later in his career and the rushing stats go down, so I could see that as a reason they ran less

Whiskey. Preferably Irish or Scotch. On a little bit of ice. Beer. I like just about anything with a little quality and some things that are swill too. Fav is New Castle. Wine. used to be my go to beverage to drink before going out to the bar. The buzz is different than other alcohol. Don't have a favorite per se, though a nice old vin zin is awesome. Gin and tonic in the summertime is a solid mixed drink. Most others are too sweet. Bloody Mary's are good on occasion. edit: My buddy used to work at this hole in the wall bar and made awesome Caesars, Bware. They're awesome. That's about it.

I disagree with the wide receiver as a need. I wouldn't put that as a need. A want maybe. Considering the depth at the position with the emergence of cooper and maclin's probable return, I'd say there are better things to concentrate on. If a wideout falls in your lap I guess you go with it

The cards fell just right for us, later in the season. We faced a number of back up QB's and struggling offenses. I would not be hugely surprised if we get better and more talented, as a team, while not getting better record wise. The schedule should be tougher and there's no way that the NFC East stays as bad as it was this year.

Yea I'm with you there. It seems like a dumb move to make a hole at the position when we have other needs.

He collected 15 million guaranteed which is a not that much. He's a 28 year old small speed guy. His contract is up when he's 30, and his earning potential will likely never be higher than it is at this exact moment. Lord knows I wouldn't want to pay top dollar far a very smalll guy that relies on his speed as much as he does after 30. He has exactly the right amount of time left in his career and couple that with his best year as a receiver and I can hardly fault him for attempting to get the most out of his production this offseason. If I were in his position I would probably make the same move this year.

The talk I'm hearing is it's more about guaranteed money than a raise. Sure he wants a little more money but I think security is an even bigger factor. I don't see a problem with renegotiating under those terms.

The booing opposing defenders every time one goes down looks really bad. That needs to stop.

The only issue I have with that is having a wildcard possibly get a bye. It's very possible that a team like San Fran at 12-4 would be able to have a better record than a division winner. They tied the Panthers this year, though I imagine the first tie breaker would be a tie goes to the division winner. It's not impossible that the 2 seed in the current setup is at 11-5 though.

If this game didn't feel like a bonus, I would be terrified of the Saints. This game reminds me of the Tampa game in 02-03 season. Everyone said then that the Bucs couldn't win in the cold and no one picked them. Well, the Saints are getting this type of talk. As it is, I'll be satisfied with the season no matter how this game turns out. My bar will be elevated for next season, but everything feels like gravy at this point.
