Eckel: New OL Coach Mudd, G Herremens key for 2011 Eagles' O-Line
GA_Eagle replied to BLUE's topic in NFC
We had a RT, previously, that was a better player in Runyan. As for the past two seasons, well there's been a lot of injuries, a likely desire to justify the Justice pick, a couple of former all pro brothers at RG/RT that haven't been on the field, and a pro bowl center that has played like one offensive series in the last season, I'm sure I'm missing some things. I can see how if you've got one thing working why you might not wanna mess with it. -
I love this rivalry.

meh. I guess if I felt allegiance to a city this might bother me.

Favorite player on your Team, Division, and NFL
GA_Eagle replied to Titanswin472's topic in General NFL Talk
Team: Trent Cole Division... uh... McNabb, he still counts. NFL: Apparently Sean had the same idea, and maybe we're cheating but I can't think of anyone else I would put ahead of these guys. -
Eh. If your coach is smart you make an example of someone that doesn't work. You take a gamble with the 5th rounder and a contract that is easy to get out of. If he refuses to buy in, then he doesn't play or gets he cut. If anyone else wants to follow his poor work ethic example they can follow him to the bench or out the door. These guys are pros as are the coaches. If they can't handle one unmotivated player before it destroys a locker room then they shouldn't have a job.

without a second thought. The risk of a 5th round pick? pssh.

Seems like a record label is a bad investment nowadays.

Everything Matters! Ron Currie Jr. The basic premise is what would you do if you knew from the time you were an embryo that the world would end when you were 36 years old and no one else does. Its pretty awesome.

Just finished The Ender series by Orson Scott Card. Loved it. Ender's Game blew my mind. The "Bean" books were solid as well. If you like Sci Fi, read Ender's Game. Also just finished Soft Apocalypse by Will McIntosh. Pretty damn interesting, and kinda horrifying. Currently reading Every Demon Has His Day by Cara Lockwood. It's fluff but it passes the time.

Sadly, no. There is a certain segment of society that is at least this stupid everywhere.

One of my favorite "new" country songs (you know of the last 15 years)

Watched a comic book movie recently that did not exceed expectation, in fact it was far worse than I expected and I expected pretty damn bad. Jonah Hex. Fans of the comic will be pissed, fans of watching movies that don't suck balls also.

I think you missed my point. I was trying to impress that each type of area is something different. oh well. Going to a big city will not give you the down homeyness but he could be into seeing the city. Its kinda obvious so I didn't think it needed to be completely worded out. edit: If it were me I would stay in a place like Chicago/LA/NY and take a road trip through small town america. Chicago would be your best bet for that kinda trip, imo so you are onto something.

Hmm. Jackson not targeted in the top 10 but in the top 4 for catches over 20 yards. and top three for yardage. This is not a bad thing. His long TD's were down in '10 as opposed to '09 but he's not likely to repeat the stats of that season in terms of long TD's.

Well, there are three big cities that you will get a slice of America from and each is unique. These are places that those from across the world are used to seeing in movies etc, in Chicago, New York and LA. None are really rife with "Americana" which implies a more small town atmosphere. The problem with trying to experience all of the country is its just damn big. You will have a completely unique experience in every region, with different types of people, ways of talking, social values etc. If you're interested in seeing history (though we have little in comparison to Europe as far as documented history), I recommend the East Coast, though the West and Midwest also has a unique and interesting history, despite being "newer" (cowboys and indians as well as Spanish influence etc... woo stereotypes) The West has a large amount of natural beauty, and outdoor activity types of things to do, not that you can't get that in the East, its just more densely populated with cities. Being from a pretty densely populated place, it ight be really interesting to see the west (not Cali) just to try and get a sense of the sheer amount of SPACE. Its tough for me to wrap my mind around it sometimes, being from the East. Americans love their sports so there shouldn't be a problem with playing soccer or catching a Baseball game (or whatever is in season) no matter where you are
