    Reebok Zig / Shoes

I'm glad I didn't get the zigs. I checked out NikeTown in downtown Seattle. Had the widest selection of Nike shoes I've ever seen. Way better than any major mall. Ended up with some black&white Nike Hyperdunks.

Former No. 4 overall pick OLB Curry demoted

Notice how much better our defense was this week with KJ Wright starting.

  5. READ MORE: Michael Vick (QB - PHI), Atlanta Falcons, Philadelphia Eagles Michael Vick's injury, for now, has been deemed a neck injury by the Philadelphia Eagles. He was taken back to the locker room after falling into his own offensive lineman midway through the third quarter against the Atlanta Falcons. NBC's Michelle Tafoya reports that Vick suffered a neck injury a few minutes later. Vick immediately left the game after the hit. The NBC cameras caught Vick spitting up blood after the play, which raised many alarm bells. However, Tafoya reports that is only because he bit his tongue on the way down. The Eagles were able to score on their first few drives after Vick's injury on a LeSean McCoy touchdown that made the score 31-21, but the Falcons are driving to get back into the game. I don't know if anyone heard it, but at the end of the postgame show on NBC before they cut, they mentioned that Michael Vick also suffered a concussion, but we don't know the severity yet.

  8. Peyton Manning isn't deemed out for the whole season...
  9. One of the most annoying Yankees of all time. He's a pest, throws the same pitch every time, yet you still cannot put a good swing on it. That said, I really have grown a softspot for players that have been in the game since I became a fan way back in 1995. That is an exceptionally long time to be dominant. There's only a few players who have done the same; Jim Thome, Tim Wakefield, Jason Varitek, Derek Jeter, and a few others. Hats off. You are the best relief pitcher to even live, Mariano :beerchug2:

    Biggest Losses Thus Far

Who is the biggest? Peyton Manning. He was the true MVP of the NFL for about a decade. Nobody was as key to a team's success as he was. They would be undefeated this point with him. Instead, they are winless. They go from 11-5 to maybe 3 wins. Other significant losses? Steven Jackson- the Rams' run game and young Sam Bradford's security blanket. Robert Gallery- Seattle's top offesnive lineman on an already shitty line. Nick Collins- Maybe not as significant when you have so many other great players on the unit. Jamaal Charles- A team's best player, and a top 5 RB in the NFL, though they were getting blown out even when he was there. Arian Foster- It just depends on how long he will be out. Ben Tate has quietly stepped up in his absense and come in third so far in rushing yards in the NFL.

At the time of the injury all I was thinking was uh oh, kevin kolb trade repercussions, but this kafta kid looks like a really awesome backup QB

OPOY is easily Kenny Britt. Back to back monster numbers on a crappy team, and against the Jags and Ravens. Of course the Dolphins will make Tom Brady look good. It's their only purpose in the NFC East.

Is Jay Cutler the toughest QB in the NFL?

Toughness isn't just a physical thing, it's an attitude. And Jay Cutler has one of the worst attitudes in the game of football.
  16. I was so puzzled when he left. Look like he just tripped a little on his own account.

Jamaal Charles out with a torn ACL.

Charles suffers scary knee injury: Chiefs RB Jamaal Charles tried to stretch out the ball on the sideline in order to get a first down Week 2 against the Lions, and his cleat got caught in the turf. His knee seemed to give out on the play, and he was immediately down on the field. Charles was not able to get up before trainers had to cart him off the field. CBS Sports analyst Randy Cross speculated that the RB may be out for the entire season with the injury.
  18. QB - Josh Freeman @ Min WR - Roddy White @ Phi WR - Mike Wallave vs. Sea RB - Matt Forte @ NO RB - TE - Rob Gronkowski vs. SD Flex- K - Mason Crosby DST - Buccaneers @ Min Considerable Options (only get two) Caddilac Williams @ NYG LeGarette Blount @ Min (1.5 pts last week) Mike Tolbert vs. NE (3TDs and 30 pts last week) Kenny Britt vs. Bal (scored 30 pts last week) Ben Tate @ Mia Chad Ochocinco vs SD Mike Thomas @ NYJ Daniel Thomas vs. HOU Michael Bush @ BUF I was leaning towards Caddilac going into the 2nd runningback spot since SJ is doubtful and Cadillac put up 91 last week, combined with scattered receptions, and Mike Tolbert going into the flex. Tolbert had 9 catches last week and 3 touchdown, all worth quite a bit of points. I never thought of Tolbert as one of the better backs in the league, but the Chargers use him like he's Ladanian Tomlinson in his prime for cryin out loud. This is a PPR league

    Way too many options

KENNY BRITT GOT FRICKEN 135 YARDS AND A TOUCHDOWN Fuck fantasy football. Luckily Forte and Wallace really picked me up.

What if Bill Leavy... bah. Whats the use.
  21. BC

    Way too many options

I'm set on Cadillac as the RB2, I'm convinced he's getting a full load and should continue to benefit from the passing game like he did against the Eagles when he posted 145 total yards in a half. He's a great commodity this week so I'm all for it. Blount and the entire Bucs offense is apparently going to be getting off to a much slower start than expected, and I'm already regretting drafting him, so I've got to wait it out another week with Blount. It's really between Mike Tolbert and Kenny Britt, the two guys who scored 30+ last week. Had my two top scorers on the bench. Right now I have Tolbert in because he's got a slightly better matchup. Britt will go against the Ravens, and quite frankly that could be a shutout. Matt has never done well under pressure.

    Robert Gallery OUT

Pete Carroll just announced at press conference that Robert Gallery is gunna kick it on the sideline at San Fran. Yesterday, he claimed that there was a better shot of Gallery playing than Sidney Rice. Probably lots of guys faking injuries this year. Carroll wants to throw the season.
  24. From @dannyoneil : SB XL ref Bill Leavy working #Seahawks #Steelers game Sunday. For real.
  25. WR Emmanuel Sanders, a hit as a rookie with 28 receptions for 376 yards, has not recovered well from surgery on a broken foot and may drop from No. 3 on the depth chart to No. 5. (Yahoo! Sports)
