Dark Brown. You should post a color pallette with typical hair colors to choose from, number them, and have people just pick from the numbers so we get the shade down, not just "brown." That would help out big time when we go to make the illustration.

Anybody here ever officiated? I did a massive job hunt not too long ago and I asked everybody I knew for ideas, and my uncle reminded me of the service he did for Pacific Northwest Football Officials Association. I got the info, sent the email, and got on. Pretty easy to do, no intense interviewing process, just be available and give up friday nights and weekends mostly and you're set. You make your owns schedule and then they put you with any game in that window. Pay doesn't come very often, so you will earn fewer and larger checks. $40-70 per game, depending on the level. Uniform gets delivered on Tuesday, and the cost gets taken from my first paycheck. My first gig is working as chain crew for high school football kickoff weekend at Qwest Field (Ir efuse to call it C-Link). Obviously the newbs get the small roles like line judge, and when you are ready, you are assigned umpire for say a junior football game. They have tons of people who leave the organization to referee DIII, DII, and DI college. They had a handful currently in the NFL that they listed off at the meeting I went to. Honestly I don't understand why you all arn't doing this

You make it sound like a preseason game has significance. Who won last year? The year before? Noone gives a shit. You can up security inside the stadium all you want, but outside the stadium is a completely different story.

As soon as they made the switch to Starks it was evident that he had a ton of power and loved to truck it up the gut and drag defenders with him. Are they just trying to motivate him more in not giving him the starting role?

Isn't a darkhorse someone who we don't expect, and will come out of nowhere? Those guys arn't really under the radar at this point. Mike Williams was the darkhorse last year and I don't know that we'll have anyone boom with that level of suprise, but I really like Anthony McCoy, one of our backup tight ends. He has had two outstanding preseasons now, and with Pete Carroll targetting bigger players, he certainly has an advantage or two over John Carlson. Carlson is battling injuries right now. We havn't even seen him in the preseason. We currently have 4 tight ends that we really like, and I think we may be good with Zach Miller and Anthony McCoy
