  1. Seattle Sports Radio just leaked that sources say Matt Hasselbeck not considering Seattle as one of the options anymore. The frontrunners are Tennessee Titans by far, as they are the most likely to be a contender and will pay the most money for a 2 year deal. Runner ups are Arizona and San Francisco. Well, it will be unfortunate to watch the Seahawks have miserable offensive play, but knowing we are going to make alot of rebuilding moves is encouraging. We fixed the O-Line up a bit, now we can go after the future franchise quarterback. Andrew Luck, or Matt Barkley, since Pete has ties to Barkley. I just really hope we don't be afraid to move up in the draft to get the guy we really want. We need to be extremely aggessive in the draft this coming year, like when we got Okung, Earl Thomas, and Golden Tate two years ago.

Giants to cut Shaun O'Hara and Rich Seubert

Didn't the Giants have like the 2nd best O-Line in football? I'd assume these would be very viable options for any NFL team. Aka grab that shit Seattle

Update: Seahawks sign WR Sidney Rice

Dear God, I'll pass. Spend money on the guard Gallery, and defense PLEASE.
  4. I love surfing youtube for compilations of highlights to movies that get you all rialed up for football. Sometimes even to get ready for the weight room. I find alot of good music this way as well. Anything's fair game, just keep it football, and preferably funny quotes/a good chilling feel to it. Enjoy, and share some of your own if you have your own favorites!

Marvin Lewis says Carson Palmer has retired

He can still come out of retirement during the free agency period, correct? I think the chances are very good they get the first overall pick. They won't have Benson, won't have Palmer, won't have T.O. or OchoCinco. Granted the Cardinals, Seahawks, Raiders, and Panthers will all still be in the mix. I would really prefer that we keep Hasselbeck just so there's reason to believe we will win some exciting football games this year, but since Andrew Luck is in this class, I think I can settle for a rebuilding year. I'll just have to suck it up, think about the good times knocking the Saints out of the playoffs, and go hardcore at fantasy this year.
  6. Are most of these guys still available?
  7. BC

    How excited are you, really?

I think it had the exact opposite effect. I think the lockout caused alot of fans to go get their minds off of it it focus on other things, but now that the deal is settled, everyone is coming back out of hibernating and dying to see who goes where. Also, the first preseason game is in TWO WEEKS. Granted I'm not excited to to watch the Seahawks struggle this year like we will if Matt leaves, but I'm absolutely pumped to watch football for entire Sundays in the fall again, kick my uncle's asses at fantasy football, and just kick back and watch everybody's season unfold. :beerchug2:

    Ravens release Todd Heap

They are trying to save tons of money to resign Ngata. I guess they're going to go young on offense Out of Mason and Heap, I probably would have kept Heap. They sure got their money's worth with Mason though. What did they sign him, 6 years ago? He was old at that point, but he lasted longer than anybody thought he would. Nobody would've guessed this long.

    Seahawks to pursue Antonio Cromartie?

It almost seems too good to be true all of these awesome free agents coming to Seattle. We never seem to get the big names. The important thing is to make sure these guys can play 3-4 more years at a high level so that when we get our QB of the future this next offseason, we have some sort of talent spread alrready in place so we can start contending for real. By then St. Louis and SF will likely be strong as well.

Chiefs expected to have interest in McClain

Did they just write that Thomas Jones had a completely ineffective year?
  12. Clay Mathews is the best player in all of football. There's your answer.

    Quintin Mikell to Carolina ?

I don't really want the Cowboys getting him but that's who ends up getting him methinx

Ray Edwards to go to Seattle ?

It certainly is a need. Chris Clemmons is your #1 DE and he is very solid, providing consistant rush all year long last year. I really don't know that much about Ray Edwards. If he is a signing for the future, then I'd be very much open to this move. I want to have a strong front 4 for the near future, and if we can get Chris Clemmons, Brandon Mebane, Red Bryant or some other strong DT in the second round next year, plus Ray Edwards, then that is a very good situation for this defensive line. Other than Ray Edwards, we would need Raheem Brock to continue stepping up like he did late into last season.

Tarvaris Jackson interested in the Seahawks

You know the offense because you know a whole shit ton a lot about comitting turnovers; throwing them to people of the wrong jersey, and running around like a stupid fucking jackass in a purple clown outfit and getting knocked into obvlivion and fumbling it. Go join SF and start a gay pride rally or something.

Pats to have short leash with Mallett?

Ryan Mallet wasn't quite the pick that Aaron Rodgers was. He was a early 1st round value who happened to fall to Brett Favre's team. Just the way it all panned out.

    Official Workout Thread

WardPound, if you are serious about getting some helpful ingredients, go onto bodybuilding.com and consider getting HyperShock. Take it from somebody who has successfully gone from a scrawny nobody to a pretty thick, muscular guy in the past. Hypershock contains tons of caffeine, amino acids, creatine, and other ingredients which not only help a ton with absorbing minerals and proteins into your muscles, but they drive your energy levels and motivation through the roof. I learned about it at the gym about 3 years ago, when I watched a few of my buddies just get jacked out of their minds. I saw my biggest gains the last few Summers when using HyperShock. It is nearly identical to the widely known NoExplode, if you've heard that mentioned. These supplements don't do it on their own of course. It takes an hour and a half of working only two different muscle groups in a workout, asbolutely ripping the shit out of the muscle tissues (basically going all out, harder than your mind will allow yourself to believe you can, short breaks between sets, and just being a general maniac/freak in the gym), four protein shakes evenly spread out throughout the day, eat an amount of protein grams in a day which exceeds the amount your weigh in pounds, drink tons of water (shoot for a gallon), and mix in raw veggies twice a day. It's hard to get that significant physical change that you are after without keeping all of these things in the equation. Without the excessive protein, your muscle has nothing to build with. Without water, you're dehydrated and can't process the food (an remember, we are all 97% water). HyperShock is not a necessary thing, but it does maximize every workout so you will see results faster, and peak quite a bit above your natural potential. Also, you have to keep yourself on a good schedule. A couple hours without food and especially protein, water, and carbs, will halt your body's ability to build muscle, and it can just stop. It's best to plan to make time to take a break in every daily activity to eat. If you've got a four hour drive for example, pack a protein shake, a jug of water, and a couple of egg sandwiches for the road. Try to bring whatever they'll allow in class. At work, make sure there's something in a cooler or in the break room refrigerator so you arn't left a few hours without food. In doing all of this, you are setting yourself up to become a physical beast to be reckoned with. I had a lifetime of problems go on for me winter and spring quarter of school. Then when Summer started and I tried to get back into it, I caught Mono, and was unable to eat. I lost tons of weight. I'm down to 155, which is pathetic, but I've actually got a full load of hypershock and protein shake mixes waiting on the counter. I'm just now starting to get back into the swing of things, and I'm going to be lifting like a madman for a couple of months here, and get back to where I prefer to be.

Seahawks to change up Aaron Curry's use

Razor summed it up best. I feel like I've heard this same story before. I know for a fact there was something on it last season. Part of the problem has to be the fact that the entire rest of the unit, especially the front 4, has been terrible. Brandon Mebane needs to be in there, and other guys need to do their jobs to give Curry a clear path to the quarterback. I've seen Curry have his share of great moments. He leveled Maurice Jones Drew and forced a fumble also in the game. Chris Clemmons was our best pass rusher last season, and he'll continue to be solid. Other than Brandon Mebane, who isn't even signed yet, there is no decent DT and 2nd DE on this football team. Marcus Trufant and just about everybody in the secondary has lost a step as well.
