1. How would he get to the Patriots though? The Steelers say they won't trade him to NE. They also don't strike me as an organization that would pay the top dollar contract that he is currently signed to. And seriously? You think the Panthers would give up the 2nd best player in the history of their franchise to get him? No way. I agree the Panthers make a lot of sense though. Player antics don't really scare them typically and they are a player like him away from a trophy very possibly.

Man having Tyrann Mathieu would make me super happy, but I'd rather have Earl back No thanks to Cobb too injury prone but I'd kinda like Golden Tate back but only if we were allowed to get rid of his attitude.

Rate Me ;)

Just had the uncles, dad, friends, and Vin all gather, nom pizza and drank while we do our annual draft. 12 teams PPR. I was aching inside to pick in the middle of the pack this year and not first or last, just based on my personal rankings and how I wanted it all to go down. Upon opening the draft window, I was AMPED to see that I was the 7th pick, meaning either Barkley, Hopkins, Hunt, or Kamara. QB - Jimmy Garrapollo WR - Davante Adams WR - T.Y. Hilton RB - Saquon Barkley (my #1 overall ranked player at #7!!!) RB - LeSean McCoy TE - Delanie Walker W/T/R - Chris Hogan K - Mason Crosby D - New Orleans Reserves for now, but poised for future stardom: RB - Chris Thompson RB - Aaron Jones RB - Sony Michel WR - Mike Williams (LAC) RB - Jordan Wilkins TE - OJ Howard QB - Joe Flacco WR - Tedd Ginn Jr RB - Austin Ekeler

Bumping to prove that you are full of yourself and don't know shit. Saquon had more yards than Gurley, more overall points, and finished 3rd overall. He's also the #1 ranked player going into next year. Stupid retarded bitch
7. Probably just 1 team. I might be able to take on a 2nd but you'll have to be extremely lenient on not give me any fuckin bullshit for taking a half a day or whatever to make picks for those teams.

'08 Steelers were up until 8AM the night before XLIII

Going to bed 8 hours before the game kicks off doesn't work. The body can't do it. Its not rocket science dude and you're not very smart. You gotta be up 4 hours minimum to go through consuming a meal or two, allowing time to digest, stretch, warm up, do a few drills. Don't believe everything you read on the internet.

Super Bowl LIII: Pats v. Rams

What the hell happened to Todd Gurley? Dude really is playing girly. Was it just that the run plays they've been calling have been bad? Or has Gurley just hit a wall personally? No way I can draft that dude #1 next year. I got the impression that the Rams were getting just downright dominated at the line of scrimmage all night long.

Super Bowl LIII: Pats v. Rams

The Rams really aren't that great. You're got a similar scenario to the 2007 Eagles where a bunch of talented world class expensive athletes with huge egos and several toxic personalities have been forced to play together. I don't get a brotherly love kind of vibe from them like I do the Patriots. Marcus Peters started a shouting match with a fan and is all over the media talking shit on Sean Payton and the dude isn't even playing good this year. His play level fell off a cliff. Goff is good, but not knocking off Tom Brady in the Super Bowl good. Todd Gurley was HORRIFIC last week, creating interceptions off his hands, dropping passes, not being able to pick up blitzers. He looked like a practice squad player. There's just so much going against the Rams who shouldn't even be in this game thanks to some lucky fluke shit. I just don't have it in me to pick this team to win with all that is currently going on with them. They're just excited to be there, unlike the Patriots who have many players who have been there before and are in their last days as professionals. Gronk aint coming back and Edelman is also on borrowed time. They are going to ball out like its the last opportunity they ever have. 31 22

Thats a load of horseshit. Aint no way you can pull an all nighter and then play football as grown men you smack the shit out of each other for a living. The body doesn't work that way. Your metabolism and digestive systems can't function properly like that. Muscle mass deteriorates and you any muscle tissue that is torn from lifting weights your body won't repair it at all without sleep and you'll continue to be sore without reaping any of the benefits. Even if your body didn't physically deteriorate, your brain wouldn't be able to function fast enough to beat a Super Bowl contender. No way does that work. Your reaction time would be 2-3 times slower than after a night of 9 hours of sleep which is what you need in instances like this where you're pushing your body to its highest physical and mental capacity possible which is what this lifestyle would require.

Alex Smith may miss entire 2019 season

Dude. The R words really need to get their shit together. Have they ever in their history had a long term solution / franchise quarterback? I think that would be a decent new years resolution.

Saquon just has to be the rookie of the year. There have been very few better seasons by rookies. Baker Mayfield is good and rookie of the year matieral but he was outplayed. Sorry not sorry.

AFCCG Pats @ Chiefs

Weather reports apparently have been changed which I was unaware of the last few days. 0% precipitation apparently. I'm now feeling :chiefs: 36 28 And yes JD is correct: Damien Williams 5.1 YPC on the season. You just really can't zero in on any one player of the Chiefs. To beat them, you have to commit zero turnovers and specifically sustain 7 minute drives with your own offense, convert at least 80% of your 3rd & 4th down like they did to the Chargers who had an even better defense.

I have this really bad feeling that the snow is going to nuetralize Tyreek Hill and Patrick Mahomes who have never played in snow before and the Patriots sneak out a 27-24 win but I really hope I'm wrong because they are the new most exciting team to watch and I want them and the Saints in the Super Bowl so badly.
18. This situation is obviously pretty unique. This Steelers group has become a really weird and slightly ghetto one with the whole Tomlin, Big Ben, Antonio Brown, Leveon Bell situation. The list of incidents is getting really long with the whole locker-room private meeting getting on Facebook Live, Tomlin intentionally trying to trip up the Ravens punt returner, Ben having moments of acting a bit less than professional, AB not appreciating Ben skipping OTA's preventing the two increasing their chemistry on the field, and now Antonio quitting on the Steelers at the end of the season. Randy Moss walked off the field early once but that instance wasn't really with playoffs on the line and a Lombardi possible. Brown is obviously too good to move. We were all talking about a possible Steelers super bowl with what JuJu's ascension adds to the team how well they replaced Leveon and they beat the Patriots with an amazing defensive performance. The team seems too good to break up and return to rebuilding mode, but then again, isn't the game of football one where you have to love and respect the heck out of one another as a team in order to lay it all out there for the guy next to you? It seems hard to have that extra spark to go the distance. Why would any of the players show up to OTA's after all this adversity and drama flares up again? How do you trust Tomlin in this situation as a player? Finding a replacement coach is risky because then you have a big learning curve for the new offense. Maybe Bill Cowher could come out of retirement and save this generation of the franchise? Or Bruce Arians? What a mess. As much as I want a winnable game for the Hawks next year when we travel to their house, its better for the NFL and the ratings if the Steelers can be as good as they've been the last 15 years to have more intriguing weeks of football, and I find them to be a highly entertaining team.

The Culture of the Pittsburgh Steelers

I dunno about that every analyst out there besides Nate Burleson isn't defending Brown on this one and seems to think that if the Steelers want to recoop their integrity that Brown has to be moved. I think I agree at this point. Check out latest thing that Antonio Brown went and did. It appears he went and made a fake twitter account and is defending himself and throwing all the other dogs in the fight under the bus. http://dailysnark.com/fans-have-uncovered-what-appears-to-be-steelers-wr-antonio-browns-burner-account/?fbclid=IwAR1cGS0mMfYbsfUdONkSmv_UKYrZUfUVEd2Q-RTYa4J_ht2tF7NEOFy1Zxc

The Culture of the Pittsburgh Steelers

http://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/25760587/jerry-rice-antonio-brown-wants-san-francisco-49ers-really-bad Jerry Rice giving insight that Antonio Brown really wants to be a Sf 49er. Why would anyone wanna be a 49er? John Clayton weighed in on this just now on his radio show I listen to every morning. He doesn't think giving up the #2 overall pick (which is what the 49ers have) would be a very good deal. He mentioned the fact that Oakland is a real possibility given the fact that the Raiders have 3 picks in the first round. Makes sense to me other than the fact that Jon Gruden put Khalil Mack on the chopping block just for not contacting the Raiders due to the fact that he wanted to be paid like an All Pro which he totally was. I can't see Gruden sitting there saying to himself "Man if we had Antonio Brown we would have it made." But man what are you doing AB? You had it MADE in Pittsburgh. I see ZERO chance that he doesn't fully regret forcing the Steelers to move him.

The Culture of the Pittsburgh Steelers

I could see the Rams not giving a shit about the attitude and signing him. Same with the Bengals or Browns. If I traded for him I'd probably treat him like shit though and not at all be afraid to release him the second he gets a major injury.

The Culture of the Pittsburgh Steelers

Mark Schlereth, a guy who has gotten plenty of insight from players who have played for Mike Tomlin gave this interview and this pretty much can seal anyone's opinion that Mike Tomlin hasn't really played his cards right and has a long road to change the culture. This sucks. Why would Ben want to procrastinate retiring if he knows he can't have his top gun on board anymore. This is sad.

The Culture of the Pittsburgh Steelers

The Steelers coach wouldn't directly say that the receiver bailed on teammates, but was clearly disturbed by the lack of communication with Brown in the days leading up to the Week 17 tilt and in the aftermath of Pittsburgh being eliminated from playoff contention. "When we're talking about the darkest hour, we're talking about playing to win a game and needing other dominoes to fall for us to be in the tournament and the guy not communicating -- that is a real element of discussion, certainly," he said. Tomlin was asked if Brown quit on his teammates. "You can describe it in whatever ways you want to describe it," he responded. "There was a lack of communication there that can lead to thoughts and things in that nature that can go many directions. Bottom line is we're playing a significant game and he didn't do a good enough job of communicating or being available in the hours leading up to that performance, so we needed to make decisions pertinent to getting prepared to play in that performance. I've been really clear about outlining what transpired, the level of communication and things of that nature so obviously there's some things within that you can infer, certainly." Tomlin attempted to clarify the timeline of Brown injury and being ruled out of Sunday's contest.

The Culture of the Pittsburgh Steelers

https://ftw.usatoday.com/2019/01/twitter-reacts-to-mike-tomlins-explanation-of-the-antonio-brown-mess Pittsburgh Steelers coach Mike Tomlin addressed the evolving Antonio Brown situation for the first time since an explosive reportrevealed that Brown was involved in an altercation with QB Ben Roethlisberger last week and went AWOL on the team. Brown did not play in Week 17 and Tomlin had reported leading up to the game that Brown was suffering from a knee issue – but the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reported that Brown missed the final game of the year after skipping multiple Steelers practices and meetings leading up to a must-win game. Roethlisberger has since downplayed the reported incident with Brown, but the situation has sparked speculation over Brown’s future with the team. As Tomlin detailed his interactions with Brown during Week 17, the wide receiver posted an interesting quote on Twitter, then curiously followed the 49ers on Instagram. You can watch Tomlin’s entire press conference here. Tomlin said that “it became difficult to communicate” with Brown on Friday evening and Saturday. Tomlin heard from Brown’s agent on Sunday, who informed the coach that Brown was “feeling better,” but the Steelers had already decided not to play Brown.
