What Game Are You Currently Playing?

that shit looks top-notch to me.... -
What was the last movie you watched?
Duck Fallas replied to GA_Eagle's topic in General Entertainment
Zero Dark Thirty. It suffered from being a bit too predictable, much like Titanic. You knew exactly how it was going to end. Still one hell of a flick. 9/10 -
Ghost Story. By Jim Butcher. First Jim Butcher novel I have ever read so I didn't quite realize that this is the 11th book in his Dresden Files series. Now I feel as though I should go back and start with book one and read through each of them in order to catch up on everything prior to this novel. Challenge accepted.

I am not arguing that. I was just stating that that clip looked like shit. Cool idea and all to update the game, but the engine looked dated as hell. -
The will NEVER be any sort of common sense in politics. Never.

I would not be completely surprised if that ended up being the case. I would hate to see a player as special as RG3 end his career due to an injury after one or two seasons, though.

Don't Let a Little Torn ACL Hold You Back
Duck Fallas replied to 56AceInDaPlace's topic in General NFL Talk
I think that it is still a pretty serious injury for guys who rely on their speed and mobility to make their money. AP is a freakish abberation with his lightning fast recovery. I personally think that he is a demigod. There is really no other explanation for his recovery. -
Copper. Anyone else watch this on BBCA? I just got the first season from Netflix and re-watched the first three episodes as a refresher. I missed the last half of the season when I started working.

As a Redskins fan, I would love to see him back on the field for week 1. At the same time, I see him as our QB of the future and don't want them to rush him back to be ready for week 1. We have a more than capable back-up, one who, with grooming, could be a damn good starter for most teams in teh league. With that kind of insurance, why take the risk? Besides, if we get Cousins in their and he lights up the box score, would that not increase his trade valuie when that time comes?

D.C. mayor wants the Redskins to consider changing their name
Duck Fallas replied to ATL_Predator's topic in NFC
Honestly, if changing the name is going end up as a prerequisite for bringing the team back into the city, I don't see them ever moving there. I have always viewed them move as Virginia's team than DC's, simply because they are headquartered in Virginia, and train in Virginia and more than like will build a new stadium in Virginia when the time comes. (That last part is strictly my opinion and not based on anything) On a personal note; being 1/4 Iroquios, I think that there should be a part of me that is offended by the nickname...but I can find at least 10 other things that rate much higher than that to take as offensive. If they did change that name, I am pretty sure that the world would continue spinning and the team and league would not be any better or worse for it. -
Anyone who thinks that RG3 is going to continue taking risks and getting hit like he did this year is off their rocker. He will always be a scrambler, but even this season with the exception of designed QB runs, he rarely looked to run first. He was almost always running through his progressions, moving out of the pocket, looking through his progressions again and then tucking and running. He is a very good passer, and in my opinion, should be considered more of a pocket QB who has the gift of speed. I watched nearly every game this season and I saw a QB who, even without his mobility, throws a very accurate ball and could just as successful staying in the pocket as he was during the current season.

the jokes certainly didn't go over my head, not in the least. I just didn't find them quite as funny as everyone else seems to do. That is not to say that I didn't laugh quite a bit, it just isn't what it gets hyped up to be. Watched New Girl last night. Not sure how I missed that Olivia Munn joined the show, though she is likely done now. Having her on there with Zooey Deshanel and Hannah Simone kind of put the "fucking hot chick" rating beyond what most shows can handle.

They should draft a QB in one of the next two drafts, depending on if there is anyone they really like. Extend Romo for like 3 years in order to give the young guy a chance to develop a little bit.

As long as he is out of the NFCE I see no problem with this move by Dallas...though I think that Garrett should be on a very short leash from here on out. If the team falters during the early part of the season next year, he will be out on his ass.

So it looks to be as bad as it looked when he went down in the 4th quarter. I know it is too much to expect an AP style comeback, but is it wrong to wish for it?

Pretty liberal in almost all of the major political issues these days. I do hold some conservative views as well, though.

Per the Washington Post, via espn.com: Pretty much what I assumed happened.

Even if he says he is not really interested, I think it would be foolish of the Eagles to not do everythign they can to lure Jon Gurden back to the sidelines.

...I Write The Songs. by Barry Manilow...how in teh fuck that got onto a classic rock radio station in my gym is beyond me. I actually like Manilow, but that song has no place on a rock station or playing in a gym where people are working out.

again, I don't think that Shanahan even asked Dr. Andrews if Griffin III should have gone back out there to play against the Ravens. Andrews said that he was uncomfortable and likely wouldn't have let him go back out. Shanahan reported RGIII as "questionable" or "probable" every week following the injury, which is really all he needed to do according the NFL. As far as I can tell, he didn't withold any information from opposing teams.

What was the last movie you watched?
Duck Fallas replied to GA_Eagle's topic in General Entertainment
Yeah, I am way far into the "miss" category with that film, seeing as it is one of my top-10 LEAST favortie films of all time. On topic: I watched the Total Recall remake last night after watching MiB3. I ws left with the same feeling I had after seeing Taken 2 "Was this movie really needed when the first was so awesome?" I got teh same response; No, no it was not in the the least bit needed. They should have left it alone, why mess with a great thing?
