That is true, I have made plenty of pretty poor decisions in my life. However, despite all of my shitty choices, I have NEVER once driven while intoxicated. That fact, more than anything, should show how strongly I feel about this idiotic act and my intense abhorrence of anyone who chooses to involve themselves in carrying it out.

I will be playing NCAA Football 13 when I get home at around 10:30 this morning. I fucking LOVE working at a gym, being able to put in almost a full day by 10am is fantastic.

I am justified in my stone-throwing, seeing as I have NEVER driven drunk. I have been plastered more times than I count, not once did I think it was good idea to get behind the wheel of a car.

Homer pick for me, but with reason. Dallas has to go through New Orleans who are at the very least trying to play spoiler. The Saints are a very dangerous team no matter the circumstances. Then Dallas has to come into DC and face quite possibly the hottest team in the league right now. The Giants have to go through Baltimore, who seem to be slipping but still going to fight really hard to get into the playoffs. Then they have to play an Eagles team that has nothing left to lose, which makes them dangerous. If the Giants lose either one of those games, they are all but finished. Of course those same Eagles will be playing the Redskins in Philadelphia. There is nothing that worries me more in the NFL than having to play the Eagles at home. The Eagles have had our number as of late, so this coule easily be a loss for us. I really think that it will all come down to the week 17 game between the Redskins-Cowboys, which is perfectly fitting. No matter what, these last two weeks are going to be one hell of a fucking ride.

Thank you for saving me the effort of remphasizing my zero-tolerance for DUI, Mav. It all boils down to the fact that Brent got behind the wheel of a car with a BAC of (allegedly) TWICE the legal limit. There is nothing OK about that, whatsoever. I think that every player who is charged with DUI should be suspended at least 2 games without pay. Period. Are people here seriously trying to shift some of the blame onto the VICTIM? Y'all have got to be kidding me with that shit. Do you honestly think that Brown was any less plastered than Brent, and that he had any real idea that Brent was completely incapable tf driving? Sure, it was an accident, but it was the most easily preventable kind of accident. I how they throw the book at Brent.

So...AP went for 212 yesterday and Megatron added 121 to his total for the season. I am pretty certain that at least one of these records will fall, possibly before week 17. AP is simply not human, ther is nothing that you can tell me to convince me otherwise. He is just incredible, 6 of the Vikings last 8 games have seen AP go for OVER 150yds. Seriously? EDIT: Calvin Johnson is only 181 yards off of Jerry Rice's record, which he should be able to take with minimal effort in the next two weeks. AP is still 294 yds off of Dickerson's record, which is far from impossible to reach with teh way Peterson is playing as of late.

I am about halfway through The Strain by Chuck Hogan and Guillermo Del Toro (OfPans Labyrinth fame). They do a really good job of explaining exactly what occurs during the change from human to vampire and the craving for blood as it intensifies. There are two other books inthe series, but i just discovered this one. It is not perfect, but a solid read in Vampire genre that has been destroyed with the Twilight garbage. It seems like a decent ode to the great books like Anne Rice's Interview With A Vampire.

the problem with mandadting a psychiatric evaluation is that you cannot force someone to see a doctor under almost any circumstance. Aside from that, psychiatric evaluations are incredibly unreliable.

I wrote this shortly after heasring about what happened. "No matter how hard we try, we can never fully comprehend the mind of the maniac who wrought such havoc in Newtown today. We, being mostly rational, sane people are simply incapable of even starting to go down to the depths of depravity that this individual reached. We can send out all of the prayers and well-wishes that we desire, but how much action are we willing to put behind these vocalizations? It does the heart good to see such a nationwide outpourinf of care and support in the wake of tragedies like this. But on the same token, how many people, CHILDREN, must die before we stand up as one collective conscience, climb to the highest moutian tops and shout with all that is in our souls "ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!?" To carry that thought a little further; HOW to stop this from happening again? How many more sons and daughters and sisters and brothers and husbands and wives and grandmothers and grandfathers, aunts and uncles and cousins will we have to lose before we put some sort of action behind this national sorrow?

It was pointed out earlier today on Sportscenter that the only major sport that doesn't have at least 50% of their teams in the post-season is MLB. I don't think that I would like seeing the playoff teams expanded by 4 teams, but if they maybe added 2 more teams it would not be so horrible. I am pretty sure that once the regular season expands to 18 games, they will add the 2 extra teams to the playoffs.

As much as I hate the Seahawks, I don't see many teams playing as well as them. IF they manage to get into the playoffs (which is almost certain), I think they could make some noise. The only problem is that they would be playing on the road, where they aren't very good.

I won't use a guide until after I beat a game, then I like to go back with the guide and see if there are things I may have missed. I am still playing Assassin's Creed III. Just participated in the Boston Tea Party.

Yet more proof that there is, indeed, a God in heaven. Although, as previously posted, the coverage has already decreased pretty significantly as of late. I was scare dto death that when Sanchez was benched a coupel of weeks ago, that the frickin' Tebow Mania would begin anew. Foprtuantely, it seems like Rex Ryan is tired of Time Tebow, too.
