I said this in the shoutbox a week or so back, but if they do, it is one of the greatest achievements of the modern sports era. Three-peats obviously are elusive, but the Stanley Cup Playoffs are such a physical and mental grind, even repeating is hard. Shoot, the Penguins are the last back-to-back champs in the NHL since the Red Wings in 1998! And we haven't had a three-peat since the Islanders of the 80's. (That was actually a 4-peat, but hockey was a lot different then, as we all know.) Obviously I hate the Penguins and would like to avoid this at all costs, but let's not diminish or marginalize it if it happens.

  7. As players fall out of the double-elimination bracket, they must be sorted nicely into TGP's eventual top-100 list. So, of the 32 players who were recently eliminated, we must find the top 4. I realize this is daunting, but I believe we are up to the challenge. Voters, rank the top 5 football players from the following: Jarvis Landry Carlos Dunlap Danny Trevathan Devin McCourty Muhammad Wilkerson DeForest Buckner Glover Quin Zach Ertz T.Y. Hilton Everson Griffen Julian Edelman Deion Jones Jordan Howard Doug Baldwin Larry Fitzgerald Adam Theilen Tony Jefferson Cam Newton Lamarcus Joyner Yannick Ngakoue Reshad Jones Malik Jackson Keenan Allen Linval Joseph Keanu Neal Desmond Trufant Josh Sitton Joel Bitonio Jack Conklin Brandon Scherff DeMarcus Lawrence Rodney Hudson My picks: +5 Keenan Allen +4 DeForest Buckner +3 Yannick Ngakoue +2 Lamarcus Joyner +1 Josh Sitton
