    Modern Warfare 3 - 11/8/11

My original post spouted anti-gaming hate that I didn't intend to put across. I like to play a game of Madden here and there just as much as anybody else. I think my second post made my comment clearer. I'm not anti-gaming. I'm anti-laziness, and my friends have become gaming sloths. I might actually start a thread regarding the way people change or become pathetic like they have. My bad about my original post. That conveyed something I did not want to say. Sorry about the high and mighty point of view it put across. That was not my intention.

    Modern Warfare 3 - 11/8/11

Man, you took that way too seriously. I wasn't taking shots at anybody on this site. It was just a comment regarding three guys that used to be my good friends. Now, on Saturday nights, they're more interested in getting a group of five and sitting around a table playing some kind of computer game. They wouldn't look twice at a good looking woman on a weekend night. They'd just turn it down and go home and "play." When they get done with their school day, the first thing they do when they get home is turn on either their TV and game console or their computer. If I wanted to attack you guys, I would have, but I assume none of you are like my old friends. They're extreme cases. This thread just reminded me of how disappointed I am in their overall lack of effort in anything outside of gaming.

    2011 NBA Playoff Discussion

But Westbrook was playing poorly. Watching him in the game versus Maynor in the game was a laughable comparison. The kid becomes selfish and single-handedly destroys possessions. It doesn't matter if his teammates "don't run the play." NBA players are fast enough to just swap to a motion offense when a play breaks down. Move the ball and cut to the hoop. He can't just hang on to the ball when the play isn't being run. Who cares? Pass it. Take the blame out of your hands.

    Modern Warfare 3 - 11/8/11

Video games have destroyed some of my friends' potential in life. They'll only realize it when they look back when they're 55.

Ex-49ers RB Coffee: The NFL ruins lives

I think this was more a racial comment than a God comment.

Wow. Saw the last 9 minutes of the ball game tonight...refs again. Wow. So obviously in favor of Miami. Christ.
  10. As long as it's the actual Flintstones and not Family Guy posing as The Flintstones, I'm all for it.

Just notice? Lol. That baby bird fucker has been turning games in David Stern's favor for a few years.

Better than Durant? No, but these playoffs have proved that he is the cog that makes OKC tick. Without him, they're a 42-45 win team and a first round punching bag.

    Joe Flacco vs. Matt Ryan

Matt Ryan has wielded good teams both times he got into the playoffs. The first time, they lost a game they shouldn't have. The second time, they got their shit kicked. Flacco > Ryan I don't care about his playoff stats, the kid wins games. He's gotten better by the year. He'll break out this coming season.

    2011 NBA Playoff Discussion

Dude, I'm indifferent to who won that series, so I'm happy to see OKC go on to play Dallas, but I would have liked to see a fairly reffed game, and game 7 was not done so.

So yeah, so much for unbiased refs in game 7 in OKC. Fucking pathetic. Memphis shouldn't have had to play 8 guys the whole damn game, but they did.

    Joe Flacco vs. Matt Ryan

Exactly. White is in his prime.

    Joe Flacco vs. Matt Ryan

I went Flacco. He's done the whole, you know, win a playoff game thing. You can say he's had all the the help in the world, but so has Matt Ryan. Also, Matt Ryan has had Roddy White all three years and Flacco only got a really good receiver last season.

Dawan Landry could be targeted by Cowboys

Yeah, I don't know. I just want to have another safety added to the team. I hope we resign Sensabaugh because he's not bad in coverage and is a great tackler.

    TGP Debate Tournament

I need dates and times. This would have to be after 8pm Central Time in order for me to possibly get in on it, but I like the idea. Is this through regular posts? Skype? Radio show? You'll have to lay out more specifics once you figure them out.

    Greatest Rock Guitarist: Sweet Sixteen

Also, "sloppy" needs to be a damn detriment to guitarists like Hendrix and Page. Y'all ever heard a Hendrix live video? Or Black Dog? Slop-fests.

    Greatest Rock Guitarist: Sweet Sixteen

That might be the case, but that just makes it easy to pick a less talented guitarist in a head-on match. I picked Hendrix too, but I'd never dream of picking him if he ran head-on into Clapton or SRV. Why? Because they're better. At some point, I'd like to see a guitar bracket that didn't involve the "popularity" vote. Who's influenced more people? How about who's better? Seriously? I'd love to see that bracket. Granted, Petrucci would take that one just as much as Hendrix is going to take this one. What's the point of all this? We already know the answer.

Harmon Killebrew is ready to die

So damn unfortunate. I don't know enough about baseball to tell you anything about him, but hospice has got to be one of the most difficult decisions. Wow.
