I'm OK with this, because there's talk of a safety not named Alan Ball.

Harden's too much of a jolt off the bench. Can't lose that.
-
Exactly. Cleveland tried to do that with LeBron and how inferior they were always shone through.

Zappa versus Vaughan was tough. I picked Vaughan. -

lol, these ones won't even be close. -
Folks need to actually listen to Mark Knopfler before they speak their opinions on this argument. How many of you know that much about Dire Straits? Even I don't, but as a guitarist, I understand that Knopfler is more talented than EVH. You can neg my posts, but for Pete's sake, y'all could understand my opinion as much as I understand yours. If you don't play guitar, or know much of guitar terminology, you're probably going to be more exposed to popular guitarists such as EVH, Hammett, Page, etc. If you don't see my point of view, you shouldn't give me so much shit when I completely understand yours.

I told y'all Boston couldn't take Miami. It sucks, but they mailed it in when they traded Perk.

Eddie Van Halen is NOT better than Mark Knopfler...

My vid post was a joke lol And it's not about what he plays, it's about how he plays it.

I dunno, man. Page is ridiculously sloppy and instead of addressing that, he referred to it as his "style." Petrucci is as smooth as it gets and has supreme control of his instrument. His solos are untouchable and rarely are they wank. Page is good, but he's no better than guitarists like Petrucci and SRV, who have absolute control of their instruments while ripping out amazing riff and solo after amazing riff and solo. Oh, and Stairway to Heaven is not the greatest song ever
-
No argument for Petrucci being better than Page? Explain.

Greatest Rock Guitarist: Preliminary Vote #3

Get Loomis another vote, folks. Frusciante is damn good, but he shouldn't beat Jeff Loomis in a head-on. -
Also, in reference to the officiating, Memphis had to play with two of their most prolific players on the bench. No way you can blame officiating for this going to overtime when OKC wouldn't have won had Conley and Mayo not fouled out.
-
Yeah, I dunno. Memphis can beat Dallas, so I don't know if I even want OKC to win. I'm a Thunder bandwagoner too, but I'm not so sure they could really challenge the Mavs. Memphis can.

Loomis is better? -
The officiating went horribly in favor of the Heat in overtime. I no longer mind NFL officiating, but the NBA is as bad as it gets. Christ.

I'm tempted to go with Zakk Wylde, but he relies so much on pinch harmonics I can't. I gave Hetfield the vote, though I'm not sure he's any more talented than Nuge.
