  1. I'm a big fan of the new single. It's a little more poppy than what country has experienced in the past, but I am a big fan of this direction. I also love My Kinda Night by Luke Bryan which also has the same sort of feel.

Eric Church is probably one of my top 3 favorite country singers/groups right now. The other two being Luke Bryan and Florida Georgia Line in no specific order.

  2. The only good reason the Browns have to trade him is the drug issue, one suspension and he is toast.

I think that's the only reason that they are even considering it. I just dont want to trade a potential pro-bowl WR even with that being a concern. Now if we trade him and he gets busted again we look like geniuses. If not, we probably look pretty stupid.

  3. Rumor has it (unsure of the credibility of the source) that the Browns are asking for a 1st rounder (2014) and a conditional 3rd (2015) from a contending team depending on how well he would play and the team. From a "non-contender" asking for a a 2nd (2014) and a 3rd (2014, I'm unsure if this would be conditional or not). So basically they are looking to get a late first or early second and a 3rd rounder, with the possibility of it being a late 2nd in 2015.

  4. Patriots fans:

Being a BG student I am very interested in following former MAC defensive player of the year, Chris Jones, in the NFL. I noticed that he has 3.5 sacks since the Bengals game, and has only appeared in 4, so he is putting up solid stats. I know he had that penalty that sort of blew the game for the Pats this past week, but he has always been a class act and even took full blame and just owned up to his mistake.

How do you guys like him so far? I was a bit surprised he wasnt drafted until the 7th round, and then released by the Texans. Glad to see it looks like he found himself a home anyways.

  5.

I'd be even more pissed than when we traded Trent...

At this point getting a first for Trent Richardson looks like a stroke of genius  I think trading Gordon would be a mistake though. Josh Gordon is only a WR. He won't prevent them from getting a franchise QB. I think having a good TE and WR for a young QB to work with and a franchise C and LT is pretty important. The Browns aren't far from being a good, competitive team. Hell, with their defense they're competitive now.

Oh, I know. I am saying at the time though, I wasn't happy. Now I am more than fine with it. Heck I was fine with it after a couple of days even before he played his first game for the colts. I guess I could have been more clear that I am no longer mad about that.

  6. How awesome is Cameron and Gordon together along with Bess? Bess is a third down machine and you have Gordon and Cameron who can both open up the field for the underneath stuff.

We really need to get Cousins out of the mix and figure out what's going on with Schwartz. They both looked pretty awful yesterday. I think it's safe to say we probably need to get ourselves a run blocking guard. I'm anxious to see if Lavaman helps Schwartz out any or if it's just the case of him playing next to such ineptitude that he looks this bad.

Cameron Gordon and Bess combination is reminiscent of the '07 Winslow, Braylon, Jurevicius... but in my mind more talented. Right now the RB level isnt the same as Jamal Lewis, and IDK about Hoyer. Weeden has the same sort of makeup as Anderson. Big strong armed receivers that make a lot of mistakes.

It's sort of comparing apples and oranges, but I would still say very comparable.

Braylon vs Gordon: Both big strong athletic receivers. Gordon has better hands.

Winslow vs Cameron: Big pass-catching TEs with sure hands. Both athletic.

Jurevicius vs Bess: 3rd down pass catchers. Move the chains. Different breeds based on size and athleticism, but sure handed receivers that get the job done.

Hopefully McGahee can be a competent RB for us. We did have a better collective OL back then though.

    '13 Thomas >= '07 Thomas

    '13 Greco << '07 Steinbach

    '13 Mack > '07 Fraley

'13 Cousins <<< '07Ryan Tucker (I think Lava can be = to Tucker)

'13 Schwartz <= '07 Shaffer (could be better with solid RG play, time will tell)

Our defense is better now than it was then though. IDK if we can write the Browns off as a possible contender just yet. I'm not going to say this team can win 10 games since we are so young though and that's a large difference.

  7. My RG3 jersey came in today and I found out I get 25% off from the Redskins team store. I got my jersey from one of those Chinese websites so I got it cheaper than I would have anyways. I am still looking to get a hat and a sweatshirt though, and maybe a polo that I can wear to work instead of a shirt and tie :yep:

Also, I am really enjoying my job. The people that I work close with are all awesome and that definitely helps being so far from home easier to deal with.

Side note: After playing the Lions this week and being up close in person to Megatron... Dude's huge! I knew he was big, but DAYUM! Sucks that we played the Packers away so I didnt get to see Aaron Rodgers or Clay Matthews and that we play the Vikings away so I wont get to see Adrian Peterson. But it is so cool being down on the field and realizing how big these dudes are, you really gain respect for how athletic and talented they are, even if you already know that.

Cribbs, if the Redskins win the Super Bowl do you get a ring?

I just found out that if I were a full-time employee that if the Skins were to win the Super Bowl I would probably get a ring, my boss would get one if that were to happen. Well, I think anyways. I cant remember if the team is given 100 rings in addition to the players and coaches or if they are included.

Still hoping that I would get a TShirt and/or a hat if they win the division. Even though they have started out 0-3 The rest of the division has only won 1 game outside the division, so it's not too tough to imagine that that could happen.

  8. Mike Holmgren saying he offered all of the Browns picks to the Colts for the #1 selection

No way was that going to get it done. We would have had to offer our first rounder the next year at the very least. And if that's the case, why did he not offer the 3 firsts for RG3?

  9. Also, I'm over this trade. I don't really care one way or the other. I'm not longer mad about the trade. Now I'm mad that we traded up to get him, not that we traded him.

Trading him is the right move for the future of this team. His 3.5 yards per carry won't be too tough to replace.

  10. Who do you guys like at QB in the upcoming draft for the Browns? Brett Hundley is pretty intriguing to me. I like him over Bridgewater.

At this point I want Hundley, Bridgewater, and Mariota, not necessarily in that order though. I'm not sold on Johnny Football, Tajh Boyd or Braxton Miller. If we could get one of the first three QBs I listed and then get Mike Evans with our pick from the Colts, I'd be ecstatic.

All this is assuming the players that aren't seniors come out. I know not all of them will though.

  11. Is this for that internship you scored? Info graphics was an area I needed to work on, looks like you got it down.

Well we're doing them at my internship but these ones were just for the hell of it. Trying to get the concept down and such.

  12. The thing I dislike most about the cliffhanger in this situation is that Breaking Bad has already developed it's following. You don't need to try to force people to watch next week to see what the conclusion will be, because your watchers are already going to be coming back for these last 3 episodes.

I can't even pretend to know what I am talking about in regards to filming and directing, etc., but it just doesn't seem like the scenario that you would want to use a cliffhanger as big as this one.

  13. so sick

i reckon make the text bigger or position it differently for the more important stats (e.g. MVPs and touchdowns). like make the impressive and significant stats stand out more from the rest

    nice job

    Added a second version

    Thats cool man.

    Thanks man

  14. infographs are awesome

and this looks pro. maybe look into doing other nfl teams as well (patriots pls) and they can get bigger. nice.

Thanks a lot man. And I hope it looks pro, cause this is very similar to what we did for the Redskins ;)

I know they can get bigger, but with only one year of these players I didnt think I could make it too big without putting insignificant stuff. This took me a while and I didnt even do a whole lot with it. Just kind of wanted to do a "quick" one for the Browns before the start of the season. Maybe I will try to do a Tom Brady one. He's got some big and fun stats to work with.
