Okay. I was kind of confused at first. I don't remember them making any real distinction between them in the show from what little of what we've seen from the undead/walkers.

Based strictly off the two videos, and several assumptions (possibly completely wrong), I could see the defense making a reasonable claim for a lesser charge. It would be difficult but possible, I think. That's all. I'm not excusing shooting him in the back 5 times.

Dashcam video was released the other day. Routine traffic stop, cop stops him asks for his license, registration etc. When he goes back to his crusier the man gets out of the car looks back at him and then gets back in. Later the door flies open and he runs off. The cop must have caught up to him a little ways and stopped him because there is no sign of either car in the cellphone video. Now, I'm just assuming what happened from what I can see in the cellphone video. After being caught, the man was likely confrontational he hadn't been handcuffed yet so the video must start as soon as the cop catches up to him. The cop goes to pull his taser, likely to get him on the ground and handcuff him, and either the man tries to grab it or slap it out of his hands, either way it ends up on the ground behind them. The man hasn't been frisked, so the officer has no idea if he may or may not have a weapon. All he knows at this point is this guy is trying to get away from him for one reason or another, and if it is indeed what happened, tried to get his taser. This doesn't excuse 5 shots to the back but it seems like he may have a case for a lesser charge if what I assume happened is what happened.

Watched this the other day. Was alright but Ruffalos Wooly Willy fake beard was really distracting and he and his brother walked around hunched over like gorillas the whole movie. It was a joke throughout the rest of the running time.

At least we can win the biggest factory of sadness.
