Barracuda replied to BLUE's topic in General NFL Talk
Well at least it didn't turn out to be a race thing. I was scared to click on this thread. -

I never said stats are everything and believe me I don't think that at all. Watching my teams games and a few Patriots games I think Joe Haden is a better all around corner and will have a better career. AND even if I did think stats are everything they suggest Haden is a better corner anyways. Before the draft Haden was considered the best CB available, both McCourty and Haden had great years and now McCourty just skyrockets past Haden and every other corner that has proved himself every year in this league. That's bullshit at it's finest if you ask me. Haden has the better skillset and he was drafted at number 7 for a reason. He's younger, bigger and has much more upside considering he's only played CB for 4 years.
-
Sure he was good but he's still overrated. How he or any other rookie CB makes anyone's top 10 CB list is beyond me. Call me a homer, but if you look at the stats Haden and McCourty had very similar numbers last year and Haden only started 7 games while McCourty started all 16. Had Haden started the whole season like he should have he would have easily, EASILY surpassed McCourty's numbers. But you don't see everyone on ESPN sucking his sack like they do with McCourty. Here's a little stat comparison: GS Total Tackles Pass Defended INT's Haden: 7 57 18 6 McCourty: 16 69 17 7 Here's how it would have looked had Haden started the whole season at the rate he was on like McCourty did. GS Total Tackles Pass Defended INT's Haden: 16 77.5 24 12 McCourty: 16 69 17 7 My math is probably a bit off, never was really good at it but I'm probably close. So yeah, now that Haden is our starting CB I can see his outperforming McCourty just about every year.

Yeah, I'll do it.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.

eh Browns are taken so I'll take the Patriots because I think they gunna' win.

Still early, but if you don't get everyone from last year I'd like to get into it if I can. I've never played fantasy football before so figured I'd pop the cherry this year, but if you don't want me to do it because I'd be a rookie and really have no idea what I'm doing, I'd understand.

Rodgers "Not In Same Class as Brady, Manning, Brees"
Barracuda replied to JetsFan4Life's topic in NFC
With the first bolded item, Rodgers did not have a better year than Brady but I'll give you Manning. And the second, I lold. -
I have no rebuttal. You win.

Rodgers "Not In Same Class as Brady, Manning, Brees"
Barracuda replied to JetsFan4Life's topic in NFC
If I were starting a team right now and I could choose any QB to lead my team. It would be Tom Brady. Rodgers is right up there but I would take Brady and probably Roethlisberger ahead of him. Aaron Rodgers would be my 3rd choice. Rodgers is coming off a Superbowl and I'd say he's a top 5 QB but I wouldn't put him over Brady, Roethlisberger and maybe even Manning. He's not the best yet. -
Tom Brady has to be the top guy. If he isn't this list is just total fail. Please if anyone has an argument for a player being number one rather than Tom Brady for this best of 2011 list I would love to hear it.
-
CJ should be way lower. Other than that I really have nothing bad to say bout the top 20 of 2011 so far.
-
Not crazy at all, I would too.

Usually I just read biographies but occasionally a fiction. I just got done reading a bio on civil war general William T. Sherman. It's just called Sherman. Very well written and researched. Just starting another bio: Hells Angels: The Life and Times of Ralph "Sonny" Barger and the Hell's Angels Motorcycle Club written by Sonny Barger and the Zimmerman brothers. Some very interesting stories. Believe me, I am good friends with some members around here and these guys are nothing like what the media and everyone else makes them out to be. Very good read so far.

Isn't this a commercial, think I'v eseen it before. That's something Bangy would do.

The Anthony Weiner excuse. Works everytime...

BJ won that dance off.

Tom Brady. Although he's a pussy. Brent Celek or Greg Olsen?

LMAO. You Bangy, are the epitome of everything that is wrong in today's society. I'm not sure what your problem is but I bet it's hard to pronounce. The only venture you have and ever will have succeeded at was the race to your mother's ovary, and I think you cheated. For all we know you cheated out the man who would discover the cure for cancer. I hope your happy with yourself.
