Even when we're an okay team the Steelers always kick our ass. We haven't won against them since 1998. 38 17

If we're going off of what we've seen so far this year it's without question the Steelers. Bell has so far been the best RB in the league with Brown being the #2 WR behind Calvin to this point. Ben as usual is at least a top-7 QB right now as well. By the end of the season Cowboys could overtake the #1 option for best trio but right now I don't like at all how Romo is playing and Murray and Bryant are probably #2 and #3 best behind Bell and Brown 3 games in.

I appreciate Atlanta forcing a decision Lovie would have never made himself. Unfortunately Glennon might get killed behind our O-line.

Well the last time the Bucs had a shit owner the team sucked for 14 years straight at one point. If you think the Glazers are the cause of the problem I wouldn't bother taking that bag off. I think there's been plenty of evidence the Glazer boys don't run much having to do with the team beyond the GM and Head coach hires, and that's exactly how I prefer it. I think they've shown they aren't cheap, the team has spent shit tons of money on players that hardly improved the team and they certainly don't seem cheap when hiring FO personnel. Personally I don't feel like this team plays together. There is nothing cohesive about them. When we were good our defense made plays together, this team just tries to make plays alone and gets burned because of it. At this point I really don't know if it's the coaches to blame or the players, we've gone through so many on each side.

Which 2-0 team will finish the season with the worst record?
Shotgun replied to oochymp's topic in General NFL Talk
I chose the Texans, I don't feel like they are going to be able to sustain what they have over the course of the season as much as the other teams. At the same time I could also see the Bills starting out strong in the first 4-5 games and losing all but a couple of the rest like they've been known to do in some other recent seasons. -
The Bucs over the last several seasons seem to play better away than at home, especially against division rivals, so I can see them making some good drives. However, with the poor play of the O-line and our "Bend but also break" defense, this could potentially be a slaughter at the Falcons home. Thankfully Atlanta's defense seems around as bad as ours, so I'll stay conservative. 27 20

I would reserve opinion until he plays against a decent defense.

McCown looks about as good as the brown grass on my neighbors lawn. The Bucs defense has been schooled by 2nd and 3rd string QB's. The O-line blocks rush attacks about as well as the Gaza strip. If you've chosen anyone but the Bucs you clearly didn't watch the games closely.

This may very well be the most uninteresting game of the season. It's a game the Bucs are supposed to win but I can see the Rams defense scoring more than our offense. 10 9 An abysmal affair.

There's been a lot of research on corporal punishment, and plenty of evidence it has negative effects on mental health. It's the punishment chosen by lazy parents that want an immediate effect. There are alternatives to it that can have a positive impact on how someone thinks and develops, but those take more time. I don't think there's any grey area, and with the easy access of information these days there's no reason for someone to not be educated on how to properly discipline a child when they have one. Him having grown up with this type of punishment being used is a bullshit excuse. I had switches used on me, every adult I knew growing up used physical abuse as the punishment of choice, and it certainly didn't keep their kids from growing into shitty human beings, so whats the excuse for doing it?

It all depends on the mentality of the individual. There are a lot of people who get with someone older and are in a way taken advantage of. Not necessarily on purpose but people of different ages can often have different expectations of others. Some people who are mostly surrounded by people their own age don't really understand the way people think when they are a bit older. Personally there is a massive difference between me when I was 19 and me when I'm 26. Because I realize that, I would feel a bit odd about dating someone that young. I have noticed though that people I know who are really close with their parents and older relatives typically have a higher maturity level and often have relationships with older people that work out fine.

I'm starting to find it a bit disingenuous now when Goodell and others mention the NFL's parody level being a big focus for them. Offenses are able to thrive in today's NFL more than enough as is. There aren't enough top level players and coaches for every single team to have a good offense. One of the reasons why I've loved the NFL is that those teams without the good offense could still have a dominate defense and win games. Doing things such as this just ends up putting those teams at a disadvantage. I don't find it a coincidence they make these changes the season following the Seahawks D dominating the league either.

The guy has natural talent, but if the reports of him not really putting the work in the film room is right he's a pretty good representation of how the QB position requires a lot of hard work. He went from possibly being a top 12 QB after his 2nd season to not even being on an NFL team now. You can totally see it in his stats too. Under Morris they started putting more plays in the offensive playbook in his 3rd season and suddenly he turns to dog shit. Same under Schiano, decent season in 2012, shit in 2013 when they added plays. It's no surprise when he's expected to learn a full playbook like the Giants he can't even make it as a backup.

Bold Predictions for 2014 NFL Season

Sorry that was actually supposed to be 24 years.
