I would absolutely LOVE Allen Bailey in the 2nd. His instincts are lacking in the running game which is why he's not ranked as high but he is such a brute and from what I hear he's hard working and has great character. Something we really need on the team. I honestly don't expect him to fall to the Bucs, we would likely need to trade up.

I'll probably also listen to NFL Radio here and there. From what I heard, they do a pretty good job.

It could happen. I get the point that he won't "mortgage the future" but they aren't that far away from having a very serious run at the Super Bowl. As a Buc I'd hate to see us go against Roddy and A.J./Julio, or Peterson for that matter.

According to nflradio, the judge just ruled against the stay of the lockout. Now they'll try to get the eighth circuit court to grant a stay.

If the Bucs trade up I would hope they grab Aldon Smith over Kerrigan. That guy has everything going for him talent wise, he's just a little raw and needs more maturity and coaching. I think the only downside to him is he relies a lot on his strength and that's going to mess up his production his rookie year. Beyond that though, he should be a beast if he has a good work ethic.

I wonder if this reasoning is why Parcells has Amukamara rated above Peterson.

Maybe if you go solely by his last season and put a lot of emphasis on his 22 INT. He's had superior stats, game play, and leadership every year since 2004 and I doubt he'll be stopping for a few more years. To suggest he may not be a top-5 QB or that there's an argument Romo is better is rather laughable.

I think this would be a good move. Hopefully they don't trade with the Bucs though, we're going to be missing out on a lot of good DE's as is.

They have much more important areas to work on. WR can wait for the later rounds, or even next years draft assuming we have one.
