  1. My division themed bold predictions:

    AFC East

Buffalo Bills make the playoffs for the first time since the 1999 season.

    AFC North

Cincinnati Bengals win a playoff game for the first time in 22 years.

    AFC South

Texans win the division, Titans Bishop Sankey breaks 1,000 yards, Colts finish 3rd in the division.

    AFC West

Chargers win the division while Manning has a sub 90% passer rating for the first time since 2002.

    NFC East

No team will have more than 10 wins, but the standings will be the same as 2013.

    NFC North

Division as a whole starts 8 different QB's. Vikings 3, Bears and Lions 2, Packers 1. This includes injuries.

    NFC South

Fielding 3 playoffs teams in the Falcons, Saints, and Buccaneers, the Panthers go from first to worst while the Bucs and Falcons barely make the playoffs in the final 2 weeks.

    NFC West

Hints of the Fearsome Foursome returns to the Rams but it's not enough to overcome the division winners in the NFC West, and the only playoff contenders for the division......the Arizona Cardinals.

  2. Similar sentiment as oochymp, forget losing a starter role, Locker is probably the most likely to be out of the league in a year or 2 if he doesn't prove himself this season. Everyone else on this list is either early enough in their career or has shown enough to at the very least be a backup for a number of years to come. If Locker can't finish out a season and do it well he's done.

  3. They should really remove it from their substance abuse policy altogether. It's not going to give them an advantage, and if they are focused enough to become an NFL player I doubt there's much risk of getting guys that are wake and bakers. But I guess this is a good start.

  4. As far as skill and the type of role he plays (shutting down one side of the field) Sherman is pretty similar to what Nnamdi Asomugha used to be. Even though Peterson is asked to do more I'm not sure he's on that level, but as an overall athlete and the benefits he provides for the Cardinals, I think, for the Cardinals organization at least, he's worth around what Sherman is.

  5. With Xavier off the board I'm quite happy with the Bucs pick of ASJ. We now have 2 great 6'5" WR and a pretty damn good 6'5" TE now for McCown (Or Glennon I hope). Kinda hoped we would trade down for another pick but i certainly can't complain with what we got.

  6. It's been mentioned several times in other threads regarding the Bucs moving to London or LA, but they do have a stadium contract so anymore talk of the Bucs moving should be ignored for another 15 years.

Aside for that, having a team in London is rather unrealistic and puts that team at a great disadvantage when traveling away. Not to mention a lot of the best free agents would be unlikely willing to move to another country so long as they have a good offer elsewhere.

  7. I wouldn't rate any of those guys a top-5 NFL QB, so in short, no. Highly athletic QB's that run the ball the instant they see a chance are great for fantasy points and winning a few games, but without a great defense they will always fall short of winning the Lombardi. The best yards come in the air. I don't personally ever want my team to have a QB that's known more for their running ability than they are their throwing ability.

  8. I've only bought DLC's for Fallout and Skyrim, and I'm fine with what they released. Those are already huge time-consuming games with tons of content and a lot of hard work put into them. A DLC for a game like that just adds some fun extra content and extra hours of game play for the fans that want to play further.

I've never had any desire to buy DLC's for any non-RPG game though. It never seems like the added content is worth the additional price.

  9. It's funny but I'm just going to say this list is fucking horrid. Girls like Miley, Selena, and Mila are cute but they aren't what I would call hot. There are plenty of women towards the bottom of the list that are way more attractive than they are. Hell I can remember girls I went to high school with that I would rate above them.

  10. He was unlikely to be a starter next year, so I pretty much expected this. It's sad we'll be losing the last player from the Superbowl team, and more importantly a great leader in the locker room. Ronde showed a lot of guys what being a pro was all about through leading by example. That's something that's hard to put a price on.

It's the end of an era. Now it's time to celebrate his career & accomplishments.

  11. :D

I guess they're splitting A Storm of Swords then. We all know what Ep. 9 is referring to, and that occurs midway through ASoS. Unless they're doing the entire latter half of the book in Ep. 10, then the second part will be season 4.

(I think what they're really doing is trying to put off A Feast for Crows as long as possible, given that most people didn't like it.)

The problem with A Feast for Crows was Martin split the characters into two books with A Dance with Dragons. I doubt they will do the same with the TV show. I would guess they will just combine A Feast for Crows with the first half of A Dance with Dragons so they can continue the show with all characters involved. If they do that I think it will be a lot more enjoyable to watch. The second half of a dance with dragons has plenty more content to be a season by itself.

I think they're splitting A Storm of Swords because it has so much going on. Both the first half and the second half of the book has some pretty shocking things happen, so they basically have 2 major cliffhangers to work with.

  12. Do Bucs fans really believe Revis is going to return to what he once was after blowing his ACL out? lol

I would say the odds of drafting a successful 1st round draft pick is no greater than the odds of Revis making a great impact for the Bucs. Many Buc fans have expressed some concern over the ACL but there is more to Revis' game than just his speed.

  13. I'm worried about the ACL, but I wasn't a huge fan of the first round CB talent we would have likely ended up with anyway. There will be some good 2nd round talent this year and we still have that pick.

Getting him to sign a contract for no guaranteed money is a big plus as well, and incredibly surprising. If the time comes where he isn't worth the money at least he won't be a burden on the team.
