I thought he would end up a bust, but he is falling fast. He should consider himself lucky if another NFL team gives him a shot.
-
It also helps that playing for Dallas gets you exposure while players in smaller markets aren't as known. I think it is a damn joke that Roy Williams has been to as many Pro Bowls as Ronde Barber. Roy is probably a best case scenaio for Taylor Mays. Both can hit, but neither can cover worth a damn.

Austin Collie's career high in yards is 676 and he is the 4th best WR in the NFL? lol He is a good WR on the rise, but top 5 in the league is lolable.

I'd put Mark Carrier in my top ten before Keyshawn, but I didn't go with either. I think every other Buc fan went with Carrier in their top 10. This site called profootballreference has something they call Career Approximate Value, it is based on production and longjevity with a team. Here is the Bucs' top ten based on their formula. 1.Derrick Brooks 2.Ronde Barber 3.Warren Sapp 4.Lee Roy Selmon 5.John Lynch 6.Paul Gruber 7.Hardy Nickrson 8.James Wilder 9.Shelton Quarles 10.Simeon Rice

If the Bucs had someone other than Culverhouse owning the team for a long time, maybe we would've had a deeper history. Doug Williams would likely easily be in all of our top tens. The only true great player we had before the days of red and pewter was Selmon. I'm pumped to see how some of our young guys now will fit into this one day. If Freeman continues what he did last year he will be on the list in no time. I don't see where Gramatica fits into the top ten. Maybe top tweny if you want to go deeper.

Offense: Dezmon Briscoe He's been tearing it up in camp and looked great against KC. I honestly think he may start opposite of Mike Williams on opening day. Defense: Dekoda Watson I had a hard time coming up with one here. But Watson is going to have a bigger role on defense as a third down blitz specialist and the guy has some serious skills there, he was a beast attacking the QB at FSU.

I think it is a good list except Tolbert being the second back over Frank Gore.

This is a quick list without doing any real research or anything, I may make a new one when I feel like looking stuff up. 1.Larry Fitzgerald 2.Andre Johnson 3.Calvin Johnson 4.Roddy White 5.Greg Jennings 6.Reggie Wayne 7.Dwayne Bowe 8.Mike Wallace 9.Hakeem Nicks 10.DeSean Jackson Honorable mentions: Miles Austin, Brandon Lloyd, Mike Williams (TB), Marques Colston, Brandon Marshall

Better Receiving Corps: Ravens or Steelers?
Milla4Prez63 replied to AllYouNeedIsLovie's topic in AFC
Even though I'm an Anquan Boldin fan, I give Pittsburgh the slight edge. Mike Wallace is becoming a huge playmaker. Maybe if Lee Evans wasn't 30 and coming off a down year I would go with Baltimore. -
I'll have to sell on all three. Hopefully Bowers makes it through all 16 since he will be splitting snaps with Michael Bennett. Buy or sell: LeGarrette Blount leads the NFC South in rushing yards.

Rofl at this thread and rofl at the Oriloles.

Stylez has a bad practice history and is extremly inconsistent. Wouldn't be shocked if he didn't make the roster for them with such short notice. I wish him the best though. He was the best player on our DL for the last four years, not saying much, but eh.
-
I'd be shocked if the Redskins' offensed ranked top 30 in the league. This whole thread has turned into a giant homer prediction thread lol.

You look like a mini Carlos Boozer, Ed.

I thought Seattle should've drafted a QB, but maybe they will be in position next year. This is a QB league and I have a hard time seeing a team led by either Tarvaris Jackson or Charlie Whitehurst going too far.

Overrated and Underrated player on your team?
Milla4Prez63 replied to AllYouNeedIsLovie's topic in General NFL Talk
Overrated: Donald Penn. He is good, but I think he got more credit for his play than he really deserved. Underrated: Cody Grimm. He was playing just as well as Eric Berry was last year until he got injured. -
It always seems people try to connect Pete Carroll to every USC player available lol.

It is a joke the NFL forces fans to pay full price to watch backups play. The only positive is the preseason prices is what really ended the lockout.
-
Chris Johnson because I want Alex to be happy with me.
-
He is a good special teams player, but absolutely sucks on defense.
-
I remember Aundrae Allison with the Vikings, but neither makes the roster. I think we have good young talent competing there and these guys will have a hard time getting ahead of Ed Gant on the depth chart who is also likely to be cut.
-
Since I'm bored and feel like talking Buccaneer football, I decided to do my own roster breakdown and predict the 53 that make the cut after preseasn. Of course, this likely will not be the 53 that open up the regular season. Dom is always agressive on the waiver wire after cuts looking for guys and we had guys like LeGarrette Blount and Ted Larsen last year who made big impacts after being cut by their original teams. This is just based on what we have right now. I'm also going off the Bucs' website roster, so some players like Larsen are listed as centers and several OL can play both tackle and guard. Obviously, preseason changes things a lot but as of now this is how I see things going. WR and S were toughest positions to make cuts at. I honestly like the potential of Black, Asante and Lynch at safety but one of them has to go at some point if T-Jax comes back. EDIT: Just saw on PR that Economis is likely going to be ready for Week 1, so I edited the long snapper position.

The depth on our offensive line stinks. Trueblood will/should start over James Lee for sure. I was impressed overall. Jock Sanders looks like he could be a good return man, but I don't see where he fits on the roster for now. Hopefully he makes the practice squad and who knows what happens with injuries.
