http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=6345279 Really good read if you have the time. Loving this proposal for the most part.

Having one pair of tennis shoes, that go with your clothes makes you a hillbilly? lol. Maybe I am out of the loop, but straight men don't color code their shoes, unless you are a metro. I always did wonder about you Matty. I guess that explains everything. EDIT: Sorry... I don't want to offend you. You are a metro aren't you? Or do you like penis?
-
You match your shoes to your clothes?
-
You guys can take Matt Flynn off our hands.
-
Oh no. I agree with you on the 1st round analysis. I was speaking about Mallet. Do you actually like him as a prospect? Because if I'm the Titans, I'm looking at one of the good QBs in the draft instead.
-
The point of the draft is to get better players. Not worse ones.

With the 223rd Selection in the 2011 NFL Draft, the Kansas City Chiefs select... CHRIS RUCKER, CB/FS, MICHIGAN STATE Rucker played Corner at MSU but will be (primarily) moving to FS for the Chiefs. I am not sold on Kendrick Lewis (Chiefs FS) and the other guy they have on the roster is Jon McGraw, a 32 year old white guy. And the two most popular phrases on the Chiefs/Ravens playoff game were... 1) Matt Cassel throws another interception 2) Todd Heap continues to rape Jon McGraw Love his size, and explosion. And is great at coming up to the line, being physical and helping in run support. Exhibits good ball skills and above average play in zone.

The Dline in this draft is too deep for me to think we are taking a DE with the 32nd selection.
-
And finishes them. I wouldn't be totally against Sherrod in Green Bay, but we aren't trading up to get him... And I still think Bulaga can be a LT in this league.

You asked for it Doggie. I like Brooks Reed. Need another pass rusher opposite Clay, especially with the departure of Cullen Jenkins. But... I doubt he falls. The Patriots are still sour at handing us Clay Matthews. They aren't going to let Brooks Reed slip passed them unless they trade up for a higher prospect like Robert Quinn. Really dislike the Jernigan pick. Now, let me explain. We definitely need WR, so it isn't that. But part of the reason we need WR is because James Jones is likely gone... Jones is like 6-1 200+ lbs. Jernigan, although I like him as a prospect and a player is not what the Packers will be looking for. Obviously I would love Hankerson but he's off the board (rightfully so). So the most likely selection would be Niles Paul. I love getting Sheppard in the 3rd. Sometimes I question whether he has that killer instinct you look for in a LB. But he is extremely strong and very powerful. In the bottom of the third, I love getting arguably one of the best ILB to replace a departing Nick Barnett. Getting Barksdale is decent. Guard is a bigger need, and Joe is really raw from what I have seen. Thankfully he wouldn't need to play for another couple of years, so I guess it could turn out well. The Jalil Brown pick is interesting. Why do I say that? Because I could see him being the successor to Charles Woodson, just not as a starter. Sam Shields and Tramon Williams will be manning the packers CB spots for the next decade. But Jalil Brown is a big(ger) corner who is aggressive and isn't afraid to attack the run or the pass. He would be an excellent selection to throw in the slot after Wood retires to be that hybrid LB/DB guy who blitzes like hell but can still cover. So... Overall I like the pick, but it might take a couple years to develop him. If we didn't have Sam Shields and needed a starter in the next year or two... I dunno if I would dig it as much.

I will play. Just trying to determine if I want my mock tat I submit to include trades or not...

Definitely a great finish, although I can't say that I enjoyed the result. Last weeks race was awful.

Tridentdawgpound's 2011 Fantasy Baseball League
Favre4Ever replied to Tridentdawgpound's topic in Other Sports
Kinda feel bad for Stevo. This week (excluding today), only three times has a team scored 100+ points in a day. 1. Stevo's Brother 2. Me 3. Me Poor STevo -
Only Top 50? Booooo, go Top 62. Don't mind the Ayers pick though. Nice mock overall.

Shark Tank. Saw it on Hulu and was pretty surprised. I didn't think they renewed the show after the 1st season, but I love it. Mark Cuban was on Episode 1 and was pretty entertaining. Good stuff.

I wouldn't brag about learning the garbage the public education system shoves down my throat either.

Ya, plus he is going to have a hard time reading NFL Defenses, IMO. Will have a hard time seeing and reacting to the blitz (Thank you Mr. Gruden). I don't think he's gonna be much a qb, no matter where he goes.

If we have been here long enough to gain "elite status", I think we can handle deleting our own posts. And if, for example, I make a REALLY retarded post... More than likely someone is going to see it, quote it, etc. And me deleting it doesn't actually help anything. I will probably catch MORE flak for deleting. So it isn't like deleting a stupid post is like never posting it at all. If it's that bad, someone is gonna notice. I do think that at least, the elite members and above should be allowed to self govern, in at least this aspect of the forum. I am not sure you are aware how annoying it is to make a mistake, and every time have to search for an admin or g-mod to fix such an insignificant problem, and one that would take two clicks to fix. TGP members can fend for ourselves, in some regards. The upper staff of TGP doesn't need to act like the American Government... babying us and degrading us beyond doing the utmost simplest tasks.
