My big question is why isnt somebody charging him ? If you claim self defense and indeed it was that is fine and he was within his right to protect his home but two things standout on this.
Listening to tape excerpts he said, " I am following him." At which point the dispatcher told him to cease and desist. He did not and a man lost his life, how in the fuck is that self defense, I am sure if the kid had a gun as soo as Zimmerman pulled his than trayvon would have pulled his. No other gun was found. Second even if Trayvon did have a gun then if the dude would have just stayed in his damn car would this have ever happened ? No. It was not self defense if you get out with even the slightest inkling that violence may ensue.
The second is the dude needs to learn his place. You are the leader of a Community watch, you are to ovserve and report. Not observe, follow, call 911, continue to follow, and then shoot. If he was that concerned then he needed to go to his house, lock the door, call 911 and provide the most accurate description you can and last known location. Mission complete.
What evidence do you need other than the 911 tapes he followed him and shot him, self defense is out the window is it not ?

So for the abortion argument I would ask, when is it truly a human being ?
For me it took many hours on a foot patrol thinking about random things but this often came to the forefront. I am in no way comparing Iraq to an abortion, however in Iraq you cant kill something that has no heart beat. That is where I drew my moral line. If it has no heartbeat than it more resembles a parasite then a human. However once that heartbeat is audible or even there it is now a human being and your window of opportunity is over period. This is where I will say the only exception is health of the mother. If you are raped and cannot figure out in time whether you want it or not the NOW human life you have should not have to pay the price and obviously it did not bother you to carry it this far.
I am firmly against killing a defenseless human being as in the case of a human child. I am also a believer that is a crack addled mother decides she will be an unfit mother until she gets clean than an abortion may be the only act of kindness that she displays. The only issue I have found with this is while in the Army I have had the distinct pleasure of meeting many people who grew up in a situation like that and they are the most upstanding and honorable men I know. And in turn they are the most loving fathers in the world to ensure that their child never has to go through that. While that part is tough to grapple with I find solace in numbers. more often than not those baby's end up being fruit of the poisonous tree and perpetuate the cycle.
It is a touchy issue no doubt but I think the moment it has a heart beat your options have left. The reason is starts there is because that is the definitive line to where you would be killing something.

In all seriousness who gives a damn black, blue, green, white, orange, yellow, or purple. This crazy broad lost her damn mind and I am sorry but no sympathy from me. She created her own shit show and now I hope it does follow her so that way when an employer hires her they know what kind of basket case they are getting. The shit was all well and good until she put her hands on a student that she was passing by, that shit deserves her to have the shit smacked out of her just for thinking she can do that.period. The fact that she was tased who gives a damn it wont cause any permanent damage, I have had several buddies who are MP's that got tased and 5 minutes afterword they were smoking a cigarette talking football.
And so what that it got put on the internet, if you werent doing anything noteworthy not making an ass out of yourself they would not have felt compelled to get out their I phones and show the world your "moment of weakness" maybe my mom was too old fashioned but she called it a temper tantrum and I felt her back hand for it....learned pretty quick to not do it.
And moment of weakness my ass, if you cant handle stress like an adult than there really is no hope for you because guess what, if college is stressful it only gets worse. So you are saying every time she is stressed this is an acceptable display of that...FUCK NO. Do what the rest of us adults do ride a bike, talk football, go for a run, come one an internet football board and make fun of the next idiot.

As a die hard Ravens fan it would suck to lose Reed, but for a guy who one year ago was 50/50 about retirement....sorry no dice. You will play out the rest of your contract and show me you still want to be here and then next year I will give you a back loaded deal but dont think your history is worth mortgaging the future.
I love Ed but this is a sorry as move on his part, Even though he is a vet and all pro he needs to remember what team he made his name with. No man is above the team....except Ray...even then it is close.

Honestly I dont care one way or the other, the jets are going to have a battle of two shitty QB's. One thing I do hope comes out of this is that Tebow and Sanchez start a reality show...it would be priceless...

Arians was a shit OC. Year after year the steelers were in the bottom half of the league in points per game.
To be fair though his play calling was limited because his oline was always garbage. and two until two years ago the only consistent receiver tehy had was Hines. I mean Santonio was decent, but limas sweed and others were just not ready for a three wide set.
And even if he is dog shit I would take any OC in this over Cam Cameron. Hell if I was Steve Bisciotti or John Harbaugh and you needed a job I would hire you as OC before I let Cam Cameron hold a water bottle.

The point is he didn't say this to some of his friends in person. He said it TO the MEDIA. That's just plain stupid. Seriously, it was the opposite of smart.

Flacco said similar shit last season and had another "Flacco year." He told some show that he is an elite QB and blamed the Ravens' offense and scheme for his lack of stats, citing every excuse he could for his lack of production.
If Favre didn't feel this way, maybe he wouldn't have held not one but two franchises hostage while he dragged his "decision" out on national TV. He made Lebron's self-promotion possible.
Oh yes I will agree him saying it to the media was dumb. All I was saying is the thought process is not uncommon. He should have just done that fluff that I hate hearing form every player like, "Well there are a lot of talented QB's out there, so I dont know." you know the bullshit every slack jawed player says.
And as to the Flacco years I will agree if he does not put up this year then I am done with this flacco experiment. After 5 years you cant play the I am growing card anymore. It is his put up or shut up year if he doesnt hit 4000 and 20+ td's I am not sure what to say to the Raven faithful except back to the well we go.
And I Flacco is not shit he is average. There are QB's way better and way worse so I will say he is middle of the road. And he is constantly under the microscope because people know that team has everything else in place to win a SB he is the one who has to take us there, and that there will be no more reprieves for him.
As to him blaming the scheme that is the only HALF valid thing he can say because cam cameron is a fuckin moron.

Actually, I'm pretty sure that I've seen every one of those guys dodge that question or flat out call one of the other guys on that list better at some point or another. I haven't heard any one of these guys you named ever say something as arrogant as, "I'm not top five. I'm the best."
If these guys are reverent enough not to go around publicly pronouncing themselves as the NFL's best, Flacco saying it is just flat out football-blasphemy.

The writers are looking for something to do so why not just throw Flacco under the bus because it is a top 5 past time there.

If you want a hard hitting match up where both teams are going to truly leave it on the field than the Steelers/Ravens rivalry will never disappoint.
Now that Carson Palmer is gone I can actually say something nice, that AJ Green will be something someday.
Mike holmgren is making this team competitive again, and Joe Haden is probably one of the most underrated corners in the league. -

Look I am not saying Flacco would be or ever will be another Aaron Rodgers or something. However Cam Cameron has always been known for his run on 1st run 2nd throw on third that his been his MO for almost 20 years. you can find it on charger message boards from 05 and to this day on the Ravens. He is the most predictable, vanilla piece of garbage I have seen coach a football team.
I would really like the steelers former OC Arians, he knew how to put 3 receivers on the field at a time which is something Cameron to be honest. And While we are on the topic I will take Roddy White over Q. They both drop the ball a lot but hey what can you do. I am not sure who I would rather have yet Julio or Smith.
I am not saying firing Cameron would be the end of our offensive woes but at least it would be fresh versus this same shit offense we have had for his entire tenure now.

I wanted Flacco leading up to the draft. I was pissed when they took Matt Ryan. Now though, I'm happy with Ryan. Anyone who has actually watched him play week in and week out would know that the arm strength argument has no credibility. Ryan is a victim of poor play calling. The fact that Joe Flacco has had a Superbowl team the entire time he has played helps too.
You cant use play calling to make an argument because as shitty as it is to say The shittiest OC in the league wears ravens gear on sundays.

I a just saying almost all great QB's feel that way, if they didnt I can only imagine that several of the great comebacks in history would not have happened.
I am not mad he feels that way and I dont think he is close to top 5, hopefully he proves me wrong. That said I think it was all leverage talk for his agent and people are running wild with something that is really a non story because it is the off season.

Oh and believe me you wont get an argument from me there. Even as a Ravens fan I know that. He is wildly inconsistent. There are some games he is good and some he is terrible. The game at Heinz field he was good, the seahawks game he was terrible.

Yes because I am sure Brees, Manning, Rodgers, Brady, and all those cats think they are terrible. I bet you walk up to any one of them and they will say they are the best. Considering there is only one guy who is the best that means 3 are lying. That said there is a reason they are in the discussion and I am a firm believer it has to do with their attitude.

That has got to be one of the tannest "crackers" I have ever seen....just sayin.
Second hell no a white artist would not get away with that, and that is the kind of idiotic behavior that still makes racism commonplace. And I am not saying it is only on one side or the other. We will always have some racist inbred hick who says, "The south will rise again." And some dumb racist black guy who is saying white people are still trying to keep us down.
Maybe instead of this big pity party that people want to throw themselves into blaming things on social climate take a look at yourself and ask yourself is it race or is it just me wanting to look for a way out for the shit show I have created for myself with nobody else's help. If more people were willing to take responsibility I think racism would all but evaporate. Sometimes life does not deal you a fair hand, that is life.
If people want to attach race to this then fine, but if it was a white guy people would just be saying wrong place wrong time. Is it a tragedy that he got shot ? Of course it is. Is this guy guilty ? I dont know but if I was a juror I would lean towards yes since he had a chance to avoid the situation and leave the kid the hell alone.

The america we live in today wants to say that racism only goes one way well that is complete horseshit, I am Irish and my grandpa likes to tell stories of how his grandpa was turned down because he was irish and they would rather hire a black guy. And even when the irish did get hired it was half of what anybody made. I am not sure if it is comforting for people to cry racism or what have you but truly racist people make up the minority. I like I am sure many of you have friends who are black, and many of them are aware that it goes both ways. It is just that the squeaky wheel gets the grease and there are people like rush limbaugh and spike lee who want to always say it is the "other" side that is the issue. It is fucking disgusting, I think stupidity should come with a jail sentence.
