What was the last movie you watched?

Went to see Cats....it is hard to explain....but I honestly don't think it is different than the play....I think the play is just not suited to be a movie and of course....the VFX is not up to the point this movie needed it to be.

Not sure if other will find this fun, but figured I would give it a try. Feel free to post your own scenario or reply to one as the GM of the team. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Scenario: 1st round QB is going into his 5th year of the rookie deal. He started out hot and regressed statistically every year since. However, he has come up big in the post-season and was your starting QB for two super-bowl winning campaigns, even though he didn't win MVP for either. You also have a 2nd round pass rusher holding out before his 4th year of his rookie deal and has made 2 pro bowls. Year 1: 335-489/68.5%/4,365/29tds/8ints/13fums/ROY Year 2: 302-515/58.6%/3,878/22tds/15ints/8fums Year 3: 225-433/51.9%/3,512/23tds/13ints/10fums/SB Win Year 4: 262-441/55.6%/3,703/27tds/15ints/9fums/SB Win

    The 18-Game Schedule

I just don't agree. If you did more games and games were only sunday or monday then maybe
  8. butta54

    The 18-Game Schedule

Money isn't a plausible reason...otherwise the answer would be keep increasing games. There would be no end to it.

    The 18-Game Schedule

I don't see one single plausible reason for an increased schedule.

So curious if you give him that deal if he still wants it and has played without distraction?

LoL but he has told you the longest you will secure him is 2 years. Then he wants it to be up to him.

Scenario: Pat Mahomes finished his 4th season and has told you that he is willing to play on his 5th year option and even franchise tags...but when you present him a long term deal he wants it to be a 4-year contract with the first two years fully guaranteed and the last two years are a player option. I think my point still stands....it isn't what you deserve it is what you bargain for. The demand part is in the equation but also the negotiations. I would say the same if the NBA was bringing in equal or higher views as the WNBA but was making less money.
  15. Figured I would put it all in once place for people to watch and discuss.

Scenario: After a shouting match in practice during week 2, you find out that there are serious rumors that your starting CB slept with your starting pass rusher's wife. During a week 6 practice, a fight breaks out between the two. The fight was pretty bad, the CB sustained some bruised ribs and will probably miss a week. Later that night, the CB goes to social media publicly blast the pass rusher, bragging about being with his wife, and provides pictures of them in his room. The pass rusher's agent calls you and lets you know he isn't playing on the team with him, and one of them has to go. The pass rusher is playing his 5th year option on his rookie deal and your team was set to give him a long-term contract. The CB is in the third year of his rookie deal and made the pro bowl last season. A team reaches out to you with an offer for the CB. You find out that CB's agent also represents a player on that team so it is likely they know the situation. Scenario: Owner demands you extend your former 1st round pick receiver before his 4th season and make him the highest paid receiver in the league and avoid a hold out. With very little cap room your most likely candidates for a contract restructure are first, your HOF-bound QB who has been with your team since you drafted him. He is on the last year of his contract and said he will retire after the season but his back-loaded contract has a gigantic cap hit in his final year. Second, your all-pro CB who you signed to a large 4-year deal last off-season, and he tore his ACL and broke his foot the first week of the season. The QB refuses to restructure his contract in anyway. The CB will rework a deal to lessen the cap hit but wants an additional $17M in guaranteed money. 2nd on your depth chart at QB is a former 3rd round pick going into his sophomore year and has not had an NFL snap.
