Obviously I'm taking Trout. Harper just seems to have that cocky attitude you love to hate, you can tell opposing teams don't like it either. Harper reckless play style could catch up to him eventually as well.

Skip hates Lebron and is probably more pissed off than Cavs fan he won his championship. It hilarious that he can't back up most of his statements with any facts. People place way too much blame on Lebron for losses. You have 4 other guys in your lineup and 2 other superstar players, why not blame them too...

The lady can retire with the money left, I don't see her donating it. Let her move to a nice warm state and live the rest of her life in comfort.

I saw someone donated 1k themselves. I wish I had that type of money to piss away. I feel bad for her. But people are bullied everyday, they don't get vacation or get almost near half a million. This donation thing doesn't even end till the end of next month.

He hasn't been ruled out, but has to earn it. He has been struggling from what I hear.

Close it out at home fellas! -
Strasburg could shorten his career. I hope not though, he is fun to watch. And yeah Randy Johnson was a beast, that 3 year run is simply amazing.

Washington is going to be amazing. The Cardinals D is underrated for sure, we took off once they got the hang of the scheme. It also helps we have top safety duo in Rhodes-Wilson. Wilson probably had of the best years of his career last year. Housler could be the #1 TE, as it seems we like his skill set and speed he brings to the TE position. Heap seems like a good #2 TE at this stage in his career.

--CB Greg Toler gradually took on more work as the off-season progressed. By the end of minicamp, he was getting some time with the first team, trading off with William Gay. Toler is coming off ACL surgery and is wearing a brace. He jumped to break up passes several times in practice and appears to have confidence the knee is going to hold up. He broke up a pass Wednesday night to Larry Fitzgerald. Fitzgerald immediately checked on Toler, who was fine. Gay was one of the several DBs who congratulated Toler on the play. Gay is an underrated signing for us, he fills a big position of need and was solid for the Steelers (last year) -- I thought quarterbacks Kevin Kolb and John Skelton each had good moments and bad. I couldn't make a clear call on that competition right now. My guess is Kolb has the edge. Nothing new, Skelton is probably the better option. But Kolb makes too much money to ride the pine. -- This defense is very confident, and there's a dramatic difference in the players' comfort level with Ray Horton's scheme. Among the starters, no one looks lost or confused. -- Rookie impressions: WR Michael Floyd doesn't look like a quick, change of direction guy. But if he can get open on medium to deep routes and use his size and strength to make big plays, the Cardinals will be happy. CB Jamell Fleming reminds me of Patrick Peterson in one way: in their rookie years both looked as if they had been in NFL camps for years. I don't see Fleming starting this year (I'd say Toler and William Guy will battle it out) but Fleming will play in sub packages. Good to hear about Fleming he could be huge for us in the future -- I know I haven't mentioned a lineman yet. That's because you can't tell much from practices in shorts and helmets. Rookie Bobby Massie, the fourth-round pick, looks like a right tackle should look. He's 316 pounds but doesn't look it. Our OL has been terrible, hopefully guys like Levi who played well down the stretch can build on that. --I'd love to see a breakdown on the percentage of practice plays Rob Housler participated in. It seemed he was in there all the time to me. Coaches would love to see his role greatly expand. Housler has rare speed for a tight end, and the Cardinals used the minicamp and OTAs to give him all the reps they could. They know he's going to have to play through mistakes, but they believe the payoff at the end will be more than worth it. Housler has all the tools to be a great TE, hopefully he can get there. Probably won't be a great year for Cardinal fans, but we have pieces to build on and get excited about.

I'm excited for his future. I liked seeing that people were pretty even on Harper or Trout. Also glad Trout doesn't have the punk ass attitude Harper has. And honestly I'd like to keep Trumbo, but we seem to hate his glove. I had high hopes for Conger this season but he isn't developing offensively.

If Kolb lives up that contract we could probably compete for the division. We probably have the most talent at the skill positions on offense in the division. Our D is 2nd best in the division. We really need our run game to take off, that will take the pressure off Kolb or Skelton. Wells + Williams + Howling could be a nasty underrated trio.
-
Interested to see how Laurent Robinson does without much talent around him. Hopefully he stays healthy for them.
-
No thanks on trading Trout . I wouldn't even trade him for Bryce Harper.

Finally the Angels are coming together. Trumbo could still be dealt for a solid piece(s) too.

Good to see Battier setting it up in the finals. His shooting %s are great and what we have needed. We still need a PG though. If Miller retire hopefully we can nab one with the mid level exception. -
Which team do you think will own the NFL's worst record in the 2012/2013 season?
The Phenom replied to Plax 4 Prez's topic in General NFL Talk
I think the Colts still will. Luck is a major improvement, but the D is still in pretty bad shape and with the switch to the 3-4 it will be a rough transition. -
Your telling me NFL refs never change a call after they converse with another ref who may of had a better view? They do it all the time too.

Thunder were lucky they did a jump ball on that. It was clearly out on them.

Seems like the Thunder fan need to use this thread, instead of crowding up the NBA finals thread.

All you chicken littles crying about refs need to get over it. Thunder are missing tons of FTS and making stupid mistakes on D, how is that the refs fault? The Heat have earned these wins.
