    The Enigma: Chip Kelly

Taking in consideration how horrible our season was, I can still say I'm surprised by the firing. After two 10-6 seasons, I think he could have afforded at least 1 bad season; a grace year. However, considering the drastic moves that he made and every move blowing up in his face, the damage was too great. The downside of having total control is that it is 1000% on your shoulders. I also think he lost the players as well which most likely was a huge contributing factor. All the heat Chip is taking right now and comments of his NFL career being over, I think people are forgetting that his offense was in the top 3 in all major categories for his first two seasons. I think Chip went wrong in putting too much faith in his system getting rid of (which now seem to be in)valuable play makers. He had the attitude as if he could just plug and play anyone into his system and it would produce. That didn't quite happen. Kelly forgot who executed in that offense which made it so explosive. The talented players who had career years and made that offense excel. Desean Jackson, Lesean McCoy, Jeremy Maclin.. With that being said, I really only regret Chip getting rid of two players; Desean Jackson and Evan Mathis. With Desean gone though, I wish we would have tendered Maclin. Hindsight is 20/20 and Chip no doubt had to regret letting our receivers walk after seeing how our current group couldn't catch the ball or get solid separation.. He got rid of the talent that executed and was a huge contributing factor to our offensive success. This had to be a very humbling experience for Chip. I don't think he's done in the NFL. He should however just stick to coaching; Head Coach or in the capacity of an offensive coordinator. I'm sure at this point his career as a GM is over. He totally mishandled our roster and the players. Talented players and millions of dollars tied into those contracts. You don't just dump or let these players walk with millions of dollars invested into them and get no compensation. That's a loss. Chip will probably look back at how he handled things and hopefully move forward with a more mature mentality. His main problem is that his ego was too big and his system was not player proof. Considering the damage that Chip did in regards to the roster, I can understand Lurie's decision to get rid of him now. The situation was too damaged and I can imagine that he didn't have many people in his corner. So we can start the search for a new head coach now. Salvage whatever talent we have left on our roster and begin to try and add to it while these guys are still young. We are relatively a young team and the only impact players we have that could be in question next season is Jason Peters (which would be huge), Darren Sproles (I will be sad when I start to see him decline), Demeco Ryans (his run defense declining would make him totally useless). So, a new chapter in our organization and excited to see what's in store. On to the next...

    Romo has lost his mind

    https://vine.co/v/eE19gEpYBtw
  4. Revis just got one and Champ, Patrick Willis, and Tony G retired recently so... 1. Larry Fitzgerald - One of my all time favorite players. 2. Mike Vick - I would love for Vick to be able to deliver on the last play of the Superbowl to win it. That would require for Ben to be out unfortunately. Maybe a hamstring tweak for an entire series. Mike Vick putting together a game winning superbowl drive would be a great balancing act to an exciting up and down roller coaster career. Would without a doubt solidify him as the best redemption story in NFL history. 3. Carson Palmer - Never lost faith in him since his departure from the Bengals. 4 Julius Peppers - Had an outstanding career. Most definitely deserves one. 5. Brandon Marshall 6. Adrian Peterson 7. Philip Rivers - 8. Calvin Johnson 9. Jason Peters 10. Demarcus Ware - Old team rival but have tremendous respect for him; an all time great and he is no longer a Cowgirl.

    Romo has lost his mind

Because of injuries in the first game, no one can truly give an accurate assessment of the Cowboys at the moment. They lose Murray in the offseason and Dez gets hurt in the first game . Then Tony gets hurt afterwards. At this point, we have no accurate gauge to judge the Cowboys because they haven't been on field at the same time; Romo with Dez and their new running back by committee.

  7. Wagner and Bowman? That would be insane. But you would pass on an Earl Thomas or Richard Sherman?

Mario Williams: " Defensive Scheme Needs Tweaked "

Assimilating the personality of their head coach maybe? I don't agree with speaking to the media as these things need to be expressed to coaches, but I do agree with what he said. Having a talented D-line drop back into coverage is pretty pointless and not taking advantage of their skill set. They stuff the run and rush the passer. They aren't known for their covering skills. Let them do what they do best.

  11. Week 7 Josh Norman to replace Byron Maxwell who by the way will have like 2 INT's against Bradford next week.
  12. Week 6 @ OBJ - Really the only good answer considering how our team is looking at the moment. I like how we are looking on defense and we could really use a reliable WR on offense. Less dropped balls please >.>

Sammy to Bills: " You're Making Me Look Bad "

Sammy definitely has to get on the field but this kid is an incredible talent. I believe they do need to feed him the ball more. If they do, they will be more productive on offense. They need to know how to get Sammy more involved in the offense. He's just too explosive. If Watkins was getting the targets like Beckham, I think he would be putting up the same numbers or even better.

    Top 5 units

Who are the top 5 units on football including Offense, Defense, and Special Teams? State your case. 1. :Patriots: Offense - I had to go with the Patriots because they seem to be virtually unstoppable. It seems that they've gotten even better after shredding the best defense in all of football in the Superbowl last season. They are the highest scoring team in football averaging 39.7 ppg and also the most efficient team in football which results in a very deadly unit. The Patriots have a 60% 3rd down conversion rate being 21/35. The fact that they have only had to convert 35 first downs show that they are getting first downs on 1st and 2nd down a ton which explains why they are ranked #1 in first down percentage with 41%. Not only that, they are the most efficient scoring offense scoring 21/34 of their drives accounting for a whooping 61.8 scoring percentage (obliterating the runner up the Cardinals with 47.7%) when they touch the ball. The Patriots offense hands down has to be the hardest offense to prepare for because they can do everything. 2. Offense - Here is another deadly unit in football and it is all due to the incredible Aaron Rodgers who is easily the best player in football and has what it takes to be the best and most dominating player in the history of the game imo. The Packers are leading the league in the most big plays in the league (without their elite WR mind you) with 29 counting runs over 10 yards (18) and passes over 25 yards (11). The Packers are 3rd in the league in scoring efficiency scoring 20/42 drives for a 47.6%. The thing is though, Rodgers is so hard to defend and his impact on the offensive side of the ball is unlike ANY other player. There are so many unquantifiable factors in play when you are talking about Rodgers and the way he impacts the game. He can do everything and anything that you want your QB to do. His awareness is 2nd to none moving around in the pocket putting his mobile prowess on display while avoiding the pass rush and his ability to keep his eyes down the field to make the great play. His throwing on the run ability is remarkable. No QB in the league can do what he can do. It's truly unfair. Tom Brady is an all time great and you can count on him in big moments and he can make any throw you need him to make. But as to where Brady can make the great throws along with his system creating and opening up plays (which no one can deny Belichick's genius and impact in exploitation in the match up game), Rodgers creates and opens up plays unrelated to the scheme of the play. I've seen him do it countless times scrambling around when the receivers weren't open and then throwing them open. You can't scheme for that. That's called doing what you want with the game. I truly believe he will be the GOAT and I hope he wins a few more rings. 3. Defense - This spot was tough for me because it was either the Jets or Broncos defense. But I had to go with the Jets. The Broncos have made some incredible plays in crunch time but the Jets are just plainly the stingiest team in all of football. While the Broncos are currently leading in yards allowed (least) per game over the Jets by 4.7 yards, the Jets are ranked #1 in takeaways with 13 and #1 in least points allowed per game allowing only 13.8 ppg. While the Broncos are the best team on 3rd down only allowing a mind boggling 12/48, 25%, (Jets 18/56 32.1%) the Jets only allowed 8 scoring drives out of 49. 6 of those were TD's and only 2 FG's. So they've only allowed a mind blowing 16.3% scoring ratio against them. That's insane. While the Broncos are great in areas like sacking the QB (3rd best under Green Bay and New England) over the Jets (whose sack numbers are substantially lower), the Jets are just overall more stingy without the pretty statistics. 4: Defense - See 3 5: Offense - Never thought I'd see an Andy Dalton Bengals offense in a top 5 of anything. But I can't deny their dominance. They have so many ways to hurt you and Dalton is playing lights out. A.J, Gio, Hill, Eifert and the list goes on. The Bengals are leading the league in yards per play with 6.98 yards per play which is a huge indicator of how their offense is shredding opposing defenses in big chunks. They are also a top 5 scoring efficient team scoring on 19/45 drives, top 5 in 3rd down conversion percentage with 22/48, 45.8% and ranked #2 in Big plays with 27 12 rushing and 15 passing being currently the most explosive passing team in the NFL. It is yet to be seen if this is the real Bengals and if they can carry it over into the post season. If they can, they are legit contenders. Honorable Mentions: Offense Defense since Kam Chancellor has been back.

    The Next Step...

Which one of these signal callers needs to take the next big step in their development? Will Cam take the next step and become a more reliable and efficient passer? Will Tannehill better utilize his weapons on offense, take control and win me games? Will Dalton be able to carry his regular season success onto the big stage in the playoffs? Will Luck be able to get rid of the soft label and beat those tough physical teams? Will Bortles be able to.. do anything? Will Kaep stop throwing pic 6's? Are there any other aspects of these QB's game that needs to be addressed? For me, I went with Dalton. I was close in choosing Cam. They are 3-0 but considering the injuries and lack of talent that they have on offense, if they are to have a chance, I think Cam will have to take that next step and develop into a more consistent accurate passer. However though, Dalton's situation is much more crucial in my opinion. The Bengals are one of the most talented teams in the league on both sides of the ball. They have the roster to competitively compete against any team in the NFL. The only thing that is holding them back IS Andy Dalton come playoff time. Dalton needs to step up on the big stage and make plays for his football team because they have the team that can contend for a superbowl.

    Bears Reshuffling the Deck

It's most definitely worth the upgrade. Jonathan Stewart has had a very underwhelming career considering what people expected him to do in the league. He hasn't done much to contribute to the Panthers and when he does, it's only in spurts. The Panthers haven't had a reliable RB since D Will when he was in his prime before his injuries started to happen. Forte would be huge for Carolina and would probably even catch more passes than Benjamin lol.
