  1. Titans secondary will torture Brady. Brady is on one of the worst stretches of his career and this game is going to make the Patriots wish they didn't give Jimmy G up for nothing. Hoodie's last game as a Patriot as well.

    Tits - 24

    Patriots - 13

    We can dream right?

    But I really can see the Titans pulling the upset.

  2. Norv is a decent offensive coordinator BUT he is entirely dependent on having an offensive line in place to execute his downfield passing offense. Last I checked, the Panthers O-line is not great but Cam can make up for it with his mobility and we all know he has an arm. So I think Norv will be a good fit in Carolina with Cam but they definitely need to re-tool parts of that offense to realize the potential of the Norv/Cam combo.

    Side note: Pretty cool to see Ron hire Norv after serving under Norv in SD.

  3. Cavs got the hands :rog:

    I am shocked a team with a superstar(s) has not tried to snatch up Masai Ujiri from Toronto, he might be the best exec in the NBA when it comes to putting talent on a roster. The Raptors have always had really good depth since he has been here.

  4. I only listen to two podcasts, Joe Rogan Experiment and Bill Burr's Monday Morning/Thursday check in podcast.

    Joe Rogans is great but I'd cherry pick episodes with guests that interest you. There is a lot of MMA/Health science guests that aren't everyone's cup of tea. In general the ones with comedians and scientists are awesome.

    Bill Burr usually just shoots the shit about sports, news, and does a funny listener mailbag at the end. He also trolls his advertisers more often than not.

  5. :Saints: 27 :Vikings: 31

    I believe whoever wins this, takes the SB. To me both are clearly the best teams left. I don't put much stock in the week 1 matchup as both were different teams. It's a toss up and I am going with the home team.

    :Eagles: 24 :Falcons: 13

    People are sleeping on the Eagles. Do I think the Falcons play well on the road two weeks in a row against a really good defense? No.

    :Pats: 31 :Titans: 24

    This is a big test for the Patriots run defense. I may be alone on this but I could see the Titans pulling the crazy upset. The media drama is coming at a really bad time too.

    :jags: 20 :Steelers: 10

    This game can go a lot of ways but I think it will most likely be a close ugly game and I favor the Jags in that scenario.

  6. Refs may have been inconsistent, but Georgia has nobody to blame but themselves. They were the better team for three quarters or so (including the entire first half) but couldn't put Alabama away. They let them hang around and tie the game, and then, they got the ball back with the game tied, 4 minutes left, and went three and out.

    Agreed. The refs were awful in favor of Alabama but I mean even in OT you have them backed all the way at midfield and you give up a bomb? Great game though.

  7. UCF being ranked at #12 by the committee was legitimately fraudulent. I am happy we have a playoff but I thought a big reason one was introduced was because of teams like Boise State going undefeated and never getting their chance. Now it has just devolved into a de facto, best 4 of power conferences. Hopefully, UCF beating Auburn opens the committee's minds.

  8. :AFC:

    :jags:> :Bills: - Not convinced the Bills will execute but they have the blueprint from the 49ers. Jags run game > Bills run D.

    :Chiefs:< :Titans: - Titans match up really well with the Chiefs

    Round 2:

    :Steelers:< :jags: - Hard to bet on the Jags but oh well

    :Pats: > :Titans: - Titans d-line could give Brady issues but its a matter of trust

    Championship:

    :Pats: > :jags: - The Pats can execute the blueprint but could Coughlin strike again? :smug:

    :NFC:

    :Saints:> :panthers: Want Carolina and their three and a half running backs to pull this off kinda actually

    :Rams:> :Falcons:

    Round 2:

    :Vikings:> :Rams: - De Facto SB? Great game here.

    :Eagles: < :Saints: - Remember when these two met a few years ago? Well, the Saints are a lot better.

    Championship:

    :Vikings:> :Saints: - The other de facto SB, the dream

    :trophy:

    :Vikings:> :Pats:

  9. Tier 1: :Vikings::Rams::jags::Bills::Saints:

    Vikings should probably be in their own tier as they are one of my preferred teams since the Chargers left. Normally, I wouldn't root for a LA team but the Rams winning could really fuck the Chargers up and Todd Gurley is one of my favorite players (yes even before he went god mode in fantasy). Bills are a true cinderella. Saints and Jags have some of my favorite players (Fournette, Yannick, Brees).

    Tier 2: :panthers::Titans::Falcons:

    Titans would be tier one if I wasn't harboring salt from Mariota's shit regular season performance...Panthers and Falcons are neutral really. But I do like how the Panthers are doing it with like 3 and a half running backs and one WR.

    Tier 3: :Steelers::Pats::Eagles:

    These teams are kinda meh factor now. I'd say the Eagles would have been tier 2 with Wentz.

    Tier 4: :Chiefs:

    The Vikings aren't in their own tier because I felt the Chiefs deserved to be in their own at the bottom. Hill & Peters, while good players, are shitlords and I don't like how the Chiefs cheese their way to wins half the time. Just can't root for them.

  10. I am in part angry at this because this moves the Padres further up on the list of playoff droughts but awesome for Buffalo, definitely one of the best fanbases in the league IMO.

  11. How much credit does Rick Smith get for building up the rest of the team and drafting Watson?

    I feel like the Texans have had a strong roster for a while outside of QB (the hardest position to fill).

    I am a big believer in BOB so it is hard for to say he should go. One gripe is I don't feel he utilizes Lamar Miller correctly as I rarely see them run him outside the tackles. (Could be wrong, just my observation)

    So depending on your answer to my question, I say keep both for now. If they truly cannot work together, I say find a new GM and see what he wants to do. I do hope they keep O'Brien though.

  13. I haven't seen him yet, but everyone I talk to seems to love his game. Was told he looks like a RB before the catch. Nice to see some quality talent rolling out of Maryland. Last guy to get any real love was Diggs.

    Very similar to Diggs in the sense that we were devastated at QB in both of their last seasons at UMD. Diggs literally had a linebacker throwing him the ball. This year, DJ was working with our 4th string QB.
