    UDFA Gems

I really rate Furstenburg. He is a good blocker who can also make a play or two with his hands. However, as far as watching his tape is concerned, he reminds me more of a Shockey-esque no2 TE than Hernandez. He isn't fast and nimble in the way that Hernandez is, but he is much stronger and more physical than Hernandez which makes him a much better blocker. This makes him a perfect no2 for the Ravens as you guys are more run-focused than most (especially the Pats!).

Okoye is a boom or bust guy, that is what you want from a UDFA, especially if you are in a situation similar to where SF are. I also really liked the Matt Scott signing.

Quintin Mikell in talks with Panthers

Completely agree. We need a SS to start as Lester develops, if he is willing to come for a decent price then it's a no-brainer.

    Top 10 QBs

Firstly, I question your mathematic ability; .344 is greater tan .333. Secondly, broken tackles etc. are important but, even so, you really want your QB to say fit. Rivers was elite, the key word being was. He has struggle to reach his full potential in a weak Charger Offence.

    Top 10 QBs

Romo has done well statistically he has never really made an impact win-wise. Yes, one player can't do it alone but he has had strong roster around him. In 11 season (not all as a starter) he has only reached the playoffs 3 times, an has now gone 4 years without reaching the playoffs. This isn't what you want from a top-10 QB in the latter half of his career. About Big Ben, yes Ben can make people miss. My point was about injury. If you're avoiding the tackles, you shouldn't be getting injured.

Deangelo Williams may not be a Panther much longer

Williams is a better runner than Stewart at the moment. He may be older but the age difference isn't that big and Stewart has really struggled to stay healthy. Williams was badly affected by the read-option stuff early last year but showed how good he can be later-on in the season.

    Top 10 QBs

Having watched Romo play against the Redskins, I just can' accept that, at this moment, he is a top 10 QB. If he can take the Cowboys to the play-offs on a consistent basis then I will take back everything I have said. But, until then, I just can't put him ahead of players like Luck and Wilson who have showed far more ability than Romo in their short careers. With regards to RG3, I am personally not a fan and I believe that injuries are going to be a consistent issue with him if he continues to play like he does but he has far more upside than Romo and actually produced more despite limited playing time. With regards to Big Ben's injuries, the Steelers were 14th worst last year in pass protection, 9th worst the year before. In both cases several teams made the play-offs having conceded fewer sacs. I admit in neither case is it ideal to take so many hits but other QBs take more and stay healthy. Big Ben is a very good player when healthy and his career achievements possibly merit him 10th place ahead of Stafford, but I just don't see him as a de facto top 10 QB.

    Under Appreciated Players

About coverages, Smith gets similar ones. Not because he is as good as CJ but because the Panthers have nobody else worth covering. There was a Lafell TD early on in the season where he is left open to run into space because there are 3 players covering Smith on a curl route, and this isn't unusual. In terms of offering a deep option, CJ can do it in more style and in a more dominant fashion, but he doesn't do it every down like Smith does. Watch the tape on Johnson ad again on Smith (though probably not from last year as he was misused by Chud), CJ makes some epic plays, truly amazing, but he also gets caught in coverage sometimes. Smith just doesn't, he always finds a way to offer a TD pass. What limited his number of TDs last year (as opposed to previous years) was his use by Chud and limited pocket stability due to numerous injuries.

    Under Appreciated Players

had already stated that CJ was the best receiver in the NFL, but I think he does it in a different way to Smith and VJ. CJ is best used as an everywhere man whereas both Smith and Jackson are more pure deep-guys. CJ is very good deep but is more effective when used in other ways.

    UDFA Gems

There is a risk if he goes on the PS that he might chose to go elsewhere. Also, if Cam does g down then I want Cameron on the field, over both Clausen and Anderson.

    NFC South All Star Squad

Agree with Dutchff7 but with Smith over Jones (maybe not if starting franchise) and Beason at LOLB. I know he'shad some injury issues but, when fit, he is one of the best to play the game at the moment.

    2013 Late-Round Stars: Offence

Williams is definitely going to be part of the Defensive version. With regards to Cameron vs. Clause, there is no argument: Clausen is going to get cut. Cameron may well win Anderson's no2 job.

    UDFA Gems

I can' see the point in keeping Clausen, he has shoed no reason why he deserves to stay o the roster. If you watch Cameron's tape from college he has the ability t be Cam's back-up for the next decade, if not longer.

    UDFA Gems

Colby Cameron as well. Almost certain to replace Clausen. May well even steal Anderson's back-up job.

    Top 10 QBs

RG3 has been injured once in his NFL career. I admit that it does look as if he will continue to get injured if he plays the way he does. Even so, Big Ben has had multiple injuries, RG3 has a chance of staying fit consistently, I think that time has passed for Big Ben.
