Darren Sharper Charged with Drugging and Raping Women
FL Colt Fan replied to BLUE's topic in General NFL Talk
The only deal should be, lock him up and throw away the keys. Darren Sharper cuts plea deals in two of his four rape cases Posted by Darin Gantt on March 20, 2015, 3:38 PM EDT APOn a day when rape charges were filed against him in Las Vegas, former NFL safety Darren Sharper filed plea deals in New Orleans and Los Angeles. Of course, that leaves Arizona on his world tour of sexual assault charges. According to the New Orleans Advocate, the pleas will be filed Monday, and appear to be part of a global plea deal to resolve all the charges against him. Authorities in Los Angeles said they wouldn’t comment until Monday, and a spokesman for Orleans Parish District Attorney Leon Cannizzaro said only that an agreement has been reached. Sharper has been jailed in Los Angeles since his January, 17, 2014 arrest there. -

http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2015/03/19/erik-walden-allegedly-slashed-by-ex-girlfriend/ Erik Walden allegedly slashed by ex-girlfriendPosted by Mike Florio on March 19, 2015, 10:10 PM EDT Getty ImagesThe ex-girlfriend of Colts linebacker Erik Walden is in custody after allegedly slashing Walden’s arm with a knife and breaking the arm of a woman who was with Walden in Braselton, Georgia. It could have been worse. Via WXIA-TV, Erica Palmer allegedly confronted Walden and the woman with a gun and a baseball bat. Walden got the gun away from Palmer, but she then struck the woman with the bat and ran away. As Walden and the woman were heading to the hospital to have the broken arm treated, Palmer allegedly reappeared with a knife, cut Walden, and fled again. Palmer is being held without bail, charged with two counts of aggravated assault, family violence aggravated assault, theft by taking, and first-degree burglary. Walden, who has fathered two children with Palmer, was treated and released. Walden has spent the last two seasons with the Colts. His career began in 2008, with the Chiefs. He also has played for the Dolphins and Packers, including during the Super Bowl-winning season of 2010. -
http://profootballta...gps-monitoring/ Court ends Josh McNary’s GPS monitoringPosted by Mike Florio on March 19, 2015, 9:11 PM EDT Getty ImagesColts linebacker Josh McNary faces serious allegations of rape. Pending trial, he had been required to wear a GPS tracker. According to the Indianapolis Star, a judge has nowremoved that limitation on McNary’s freedom pending trial. The ruling comes a week after McNary’s lawyer argued in court for an adjustment to his bond. McNary is scheduled to stand trial on June 15. His lawyer claims that the alleged victim has fabricated the charge, explaining in court that he received an anonymous letter claiming that the alleged victim had made a prior charge of rape. Also, McNary’s lawyer said in court that a friend of the alleged victim supposedly cautioned her via text message about “the little boy who cries wolf too much.” McNary was placed on the Commissioner’s-Exempt list following his January arrest. He’ll remain there until his case is resolved, regardless of his eventual guilt or innocence.

Former Colts receiver Reggie Wayne sent The Star this letter to his fans.

If he does play somewhere, I think catching Peyton's passes would be ok. If not I'd like for the Colts to hire him as an assistant. -

I'm hearing Gore ran most of his years in SF with a Fullback leading the way. The colts put a TE in the backfield some last year to help block. I wonder if the Colts will pick up a FB ?

More ammo for Andrew Luck. Andre Johnson signs with Indianapolis https://instagram.com/p/0GaftVlC4N/ http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2015/03/11/andre-johnson-makes-it-official-hes-joining-the-colts/

LOL, Now, that's not nice !! Looks like the whole division is getting better.

Colts moves of the day: Frank Gore getting to spend his final years in the NFL playing with Andrew Luck. The Colts were wildly aggressive as expected and signed two solid veteran defensive pieces in Trent Cole andKendall Langford. They also brought back safety Mike Adams. Andre Johnson flew into town with Gore on Irsay's jet and hopefully signs Wednesday.

I sure am glad he signed with the Colts. It looks like they're improving the O line and with a WR corps of Hilton, Moncrief, Duron Carter, hopefully Andre Johnson and 1 other to the mix it should be an offense to be reckoned with.

NFL wants Super Bowl halftime performers to pay for the privilege
FL Colt Fan replied to BLUE's topic in General NFL Talk
Halftime to me is stretch out, wizz, refill drink and food and wait for the action to start again. I do watch whatever is remaining, but why can't the NFL come up with something that appeals to a broader audience? The Bands can't please everyone. Come up with some thing more entertaining. -
Oscar Robertson comes to my mind. Whether he can be in the GOAT conversation is a question, but his skills cannot be denied. Only player in history to average a triple double in a season and continued to be dominate. Just thought I would throw his name in the mix. MJ is the only player in the near past that I can see was better than the big "O" .

Getting back on 'D' did PG in. Looks good, he'll be back.
