The Redskins have won four of the last six meetings in Washington after losing 10 of their previous 12 meetings with the Eagles at home. Philadelphia beat Houston at home last week, 32-30, keeping its playoff hopes alive and improving to above .500 for the first time since sitting at 2-1. The Eagles do not control their playoff destiny -- they need a win paired with a Bears victory over the Vikings to make the postseason. Washington lost to Tennessee on the road last week, 25-16. The Redskins have been held under 20 points in four straight games, their longest streak since failing to score 20 in four straight games between November 17 and December 8, 2013. If the Eagles fail to make the postseason, they will become the eighth defending Super Bowl Champion since 2000 to miss the playoffs the following season. The Redskins will miss the playoffs for the third consecutive season -- they haven't won a playoff game since a 2005 Wild Card win over Tampa Bay. Nick Foles set a franchise record for passing yards last week, going for 471 yards through the air in the win over Houston. He became the fourth quarterback this season with at least 450 passing yards and four passing TDs in a game, joining Patrick Mahomes, Andrew Luck and Jared Goff. Donovan McNabb is the only other Eagles quarterback to accomplish this in franchise history (464/5 vs. GB on 12/5/2004). Adrian Peterson rushed for 119 yards in the loss to Tennessee, giving him 54 100-plus yard games in his career. Since his rookie year of 2007, that's 14 more than any other player (Chris Johnson, 40).
