Predict your team's roster

Recommended Posts

Well most of free agency is done and we're through the draft, feels like a good time to get this going.  As a reminder, the new CBA increased the roster size to 55.  Here's what I think the Titans will look like in September:

Offense (25):

QB (2): Ryan Tannehill, Cole McDonald

RB (4): Derrick Henry, Darrynton Evans, Khari Blasingame, Senorise Perry

WR (6): AJ Brown, Corey Davis, Adam Humphries, Kalif Raymond, Cameron Batson, free agent to be acquired

TE (3): Jonnu Smith, Anthony Firkser, MyCole Pruitt

Oline (10): Taylor Lewan, Roger Saffold, Ben Jones, Nate Davis, Isaiah Wilson, Dennis Kelly, Ty Sambrailo, David Quessenberry, Jamil Douglas, Avery Gennesy

Defense (27):

Dline (6): Jeffery Simmons, DaQuan Jones, Isaiah Mack, Matt Dickerson, Larrell Murchison, Jack Crawford

OLB (7): Harold Landry, Jadeveon Clowney, Vic Beasley, Kamalei Correa, D'Andre Walker, Derick Roberson, Reggie Gilbert

ILB (4): Rashaan Evans, Jayon Brown, David Long, Nick Dzubnar

CB (6): Adoree' Jackson, Malcolm Butler, Kristian Fulton, Johnathan Joseph, Josh Kalu, Tye Smith

Safety (4): Kevin Byard, Kenny Vaccaro, Amani Hooker, Dane Cruikshank

Special Teams (3):

Punter (1): Brett Kern

Kicker (1): Greg Joseph

Long Snapper (1): Beau Brinkley

I've got two spots where I think we'll be able to find someone better than who's currently on the roster.  One is at WR, where I wouldn't be comfortable starting the season only five deep but I don't see a sixth player worth keeping.  I don't know who that other receiver would be, and it's possible one of the other guys currently on the roster balls out in camp/preseason and takes it.  The second is including Clowney, who hasn't signed anywhere yet.  Tennessee really makes the most sense for him and the fact that we didn't address the position at all in the draft makes me think they're close to signing him, so I think he'll wind up here.  If we don't sign him I think we pick up a different free agent at the OLB position, we've got a lot of decent players there but nobody that opponents have to plan around, so I'd want a good stable to be able to keep everyone fresh.
