Turry 755 Posted July 26, 2011 Broncos informed RB Correll Buckhalter of his release.FOX 31 Denver's Josina Anderson suggests Buckhalter could return at a lesser salary than the $1.92 million he was due, but we doubt it. Going on age 33, Buckhalter petered out with a career-worst 2.49 yards-per-carry average last season. It's not out of the question that the former Eagle's NFL career is over. Source: Josina Anderson on Twitter Broncos agreed to terms with former Auburn RB Mario Fannin.Fannin has a top-end combo of size (5'10/231) and speed (4.38), which makes you wonder why he rarely saw action as a ball carrier at Auburn. He did set the Tigers' all-time records for receptions and receiving yards by a running back. Built well to hold up in pass protection, Fannin profiles as a third-down back. That happens to be an area of strength for Knowshon Moreno. Source: Lindsay Jones on Twitter
O-Town 3 Posted July 29, 2011 Mario Fannin was a fumble machine at Auburn, hopefully he pans out.
