It's funny to take a look at this list, and remember all those so-called "experts" that were saying to draft Blaine Gabbert/Jake Locker over Cam Newton. (Not that Locker hasn't shown promise.) RazorStar 4,025 Posted January 6, 2012 Yeah, I never understood the Gabbert hype. I saw a spread Qb who couldn't put up stats, the only reason he got drafted high is because he looked like a QB. You draw what a QB looks like and you'd draw Blaine Gabbert. He has the body, but none of the skills you wanna see from a guy. Newton on the other hand dominated in the only college football that mattered. I didn't expect him to do this well, but he showed a lot of what made him so good in the SEC and carried it over beautifully. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
