CribbsForTheWin 117 Posted December 6, 2011 OK PPR League, playoffs start next week, take 4 teams. I clinched the one seed this past week. There are 4 teams still fighting for that last spot, though I do have some control on who makes it, and then I would play them. Basically the team that I want to make it has to win and the 3 others have to lose. So I may have to try to decide on my second choice. These are the week 15 matchups Team 1 - 6-5-1 - Win or Tie and in or Teams 2, 3, 4 lose (I want to play the LEAST) Eli Manning vs Wsh Arian Foster vs Car Darren Sproles @ Min Steve Johnson vs Mia Brandon Marshall @ Buf Plaxico Burress @ Phi Greg Olsen @ Hou Patriots @ Den David Akers vs Pit Other options on his bench are Beanie Wells vs Cle Willis McGahee vs NE Peyton Hillis @ Ari Team 2 - 6-6 - Win and Team 1 lose (I play them this week, this is where my control can take effect) Cam Newton @ Hou Jonathan Stewart @ Hou Reggie Bush @ Buf Brandon Pettigrew @ Oak Calvin Johnson @ Oak Nate Washington @ Ind Jason Witten @ TB Ravens @ SD Billy Cundiff @ SD Other options on his bench are Jeremy Maclin vs NYJ Cedric Benson @ StL Team 3 - 6-6 - Win and Teams 1 and 2 lose (Team 2 can win as well but he must outscore them this week by 41 pts, so its kind of unrealistic) Phillip Rivers vs Bal Frank Gore vs Pit Marshawn Lynch @ Chi Jermichael Finley @ KC Mike Williams,TB vs Dal Percy Harvin vs NO Rob Gronkowski @ Den Packers @ KC Dan Bailey @ TB Other option on his bench are Ahmad Bradshaw vs Wsh Christian Ponder vs NO Team 4 - 6-6 - Win and Teams 1, 2, and 3 lose (again he is far off in pts) Aaron Rodgers @ KC Pierre Thomas @ Min Chris Ogbonnaya @ Ari Rashard Mendenhall @ SF Dwayne Bowe vs GB Jordy Nelson @ KC Kellen Winslow vs Dal Chiefs vs GB John Kasey @ Min Other options on his bench are Jermaine Gresham @ StL Montario Hardesty @ Ari Mike Thomas @ Atl The teams in order based on matchup and player skills that I would want to play are Team 4 Team 3 Team 2 Team 1 I (projected to win by like 3) play Team 2. The guy in second plays Team 1 (Projected to win by 28). The guy in third (Projected to win by 24) plays Team 4. If Team 1 wins this is all null Team 3 plays the worst team in the league and should win easily Basically I have to decide who I would rather play. Do I play to win in case team 1 loses so I can play team 3 or 4, 99% chance it would be 3 if this situation happens. Or do I play to lose and hope team 1 loses so that way I am for sure I don't match up against them in the case that both 3 and 4 lose. I'm not too concerned either way as my team is very solid head-to-toe (obviously being in 1st), but if I win I am for sure winning money, so I would rather the easiest matchup as possible. Thanks. Thanatos 2,847 Posted December 8, 2011 I'm sorry, but this is kind of a dick move to me. Play your best lineup, and let the cards fall where they will. I was in a similar situation, I could have sat starters to let the person playing me win, because I'd rather play them than the guy with Aaron Rodgers on his team. That's not something you do.
