Glanvilles Grits 142 Posted August 13, 2012 Man, did anyone else watch the end of Sundays Watkins Glen race? It was so damn awesome! It sucks that Kyle got spun out entering the S turns by Brad, but wasn't really anyone's fault. Misjudgement in speed really. Anyway, Marcos Ambrose is - I believe - the best road racer in the Cup series right now. Not even the road coarse ringers can keep up with him. It's pretty amazing. Milla4Prez63 678 Posted August 20, 2012 As good as Marcos is at Watkins Glen, he is kind of disappointing at Sonoma. Other than the one time he couldn't get his motor fired up saving gas he has never really contended there. I wish NASCAR had more road courses, and at least one in the chase. They are an interesting change of pace and it levels the playing field a bit for some underfunded teams (like Phoenix Racing and Kurt Busch at Sonoma).
