Tyron Smith Fined For Horse Collar Tackle

Recommended Posts

Dallas Cowboys offensive tackle's touchdown-saving horse collar on a Michael Boley interception return in their Week 1 win over the New York Giants has drawn a fine from the NFL.

Tyron Smith has been fined $15,750 by the NFL for his horse-collar tackle on linebacker Michael Boley in last week's 24-17 win over the New York Giants, according to Cowboys beat writer Clarence Hill on Twitter.

I'm sure the Cowboys team will be happy to cover it for him as it stopped the pick six

Boley wasn't injured, which was relieving because it looked really dangerous.
