They ended up releasing veteran safety Kerry Rhodes and signed the following four free agents: Safety Yeremiah Bell Wide receiver/kick returner Josh Cribbs, Quarterback Drew Stanton Linebacker Lorenzo Alexander The Cardinals added some solid players to their roster today. CARDINAL 205 Posted March 14, 2013 I think that even though the Cardinals released Kerry Rhodes, the two safties that the signed today more than compensate for Rhodes' departure from the team. Overall, I think the 5 free agents signed today (including Mendenhall, which was not included in the quote) add talent to positions where either more depth or just new blood was needed.
