GA_Eagle 595 Posted August 18, 2013 (edited) I don't know if I would lean to much on Wikepedia. You got another source for that? I lean on Wikipedia all the time. It's roughly as accurate as any other encyclopedia when it comes to scholarly articles. Where it lacks in accuracy is on the articles about pop culture and recent political events because the sourcing is so new it is often based on rumors. edit: Blots is right on about the Islamic empires in medieval times. While Europe was in the dark ages, the Muslim world was maintaining and expanding upon all the science that was lost to Western Europe after the fall of Rome. Sadly, the history we teach in high school is mostly concerned with European and American history and doesn't give our children a very broad view of the world and its history.
