BC 331 Posted December 17, 2013 Source: Larry Fitzgerald concussed Updated: December 16, 2013, 12:54 PM ETBy Josh Weinfuss | ESPN.comNASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Arizona wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald missed overtime in the Cardinals' 37-34 win while going through the league's concussion protocol after a hit toward the end of regulation. A league source told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter that Fitzgerald did indeed suffer a concussion.Fitzgerald was hurt during an onside kick with 52 seconds left in the fourth quarter. Fitzgerald, on the field as part of the Cardinals' hands team, got a hold of Rob Bironas' kick in midair and was hit by Tennessee's Jackie Battle, in what appeared to be a helmet-to-helmet collision.Fitzgerald lost the ball, which was recovered by Titans safety Daimion Stafford, and Tennessee tied the game at 34 on the ensuing possession when Titans quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick hit Michael Preston for an 8-yard touchdown to cap a 54-yard drive that took 44 seconds.Cardinals coach Bruce Arians didn't provide an update on Fitzgerald's condition besides saying, "We'll wait and see."Arians usually addresses injuries at his Monday afternoon news conference."I did not like losing the onside kick," Arians said. "Great kick. Larry had his hands on it and then obviously took a heck of a blow."http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/10144 ... n-protocol
