10 Mind-Blowing Wild Card Playoff Stats

I am not so sure these are that mind-blowing.. But I love little tidbits like this, and figured I would share. Information comes from NFL.com but hard to just C&P because of some huge and worthless pictures they used.....


10. The two players with the most receiving touchdowns in the playoffs since 2009 are 49ers (Anquan Boldin 6, Vernon Davis 5). Another 49er, Michael Crabtree, is tied for 3rd, with 4 TDs. Since 2009, Anquan Boldin leads all players in receiving TD (6) and receiving yards (616) in the playoffs.

 

9. The Saints have never won a road playoff game (0-5).

 

8. Andy Dalton has 0 TD and 4 INT in 2 playoff games. His 4 INT without a TD pass are tied for the 2nd-most for any player to start his playoff career, since 1991 (with Kordell Stewart, Mark Vlasic and Todd Marinovich).

 

7. Every year since 2009, the team that faces Philadelphia in the Eagles' home opener has gone on to win the Super Bowl that season. Incredibly, the 2009 Saints, 2010 Packers, 2011 Giants and 2012 Ravens have that first game in Philadelphia in common. The 2013 Chargers beat the Eagles in their home opener Week 2, 33-30.

 

6. The Chiefs went 0-5 against all AFC playoff teams this season. They were 11-0 against the rest of the NFL, including 1-0 against an NFC playoff team, the Eagles.

1. Aaron Rodgers has the third-highest playoff passer rating in NFL history, at 103.6, behind only Bart Starr (104.8) and Drew Brees (104.2). Rodgers also has highest regular season passer rating in NFL history (104.9)
