Having the SB in Jersey was not exactly a great idea...

I live in NJ but it beats me how NJ wound up with hosting a SB...

 

Media day was in Newark and both teams are lodging in Jersey City the entire week. Newark is one of the shittiest cities in the country (100+ homicides in 2013) and Jersey City is a far fucking cry from being a high class city. Then you have the site of the game which is the Meadowlands, a fucking SWAMP. The entire location is an eye sore, especially that Xanadu shit which is across the street from the stadium. Not great execution by the league having their first cold weather SB in NJ.

 

Kind of sucks to be the Broncos and Seahawks. You make it to the SB which is a major accomplishment and you have the misfortune of spending the week in Newark, Jersey City, and a swamp.

 

Glad the Pats are saving their SB trip for Phoenix next year.
