Gotta love the Awards based on keeping this forum active on sports other than football. We may be a football forum but the season is oddly short compared to others and if we didn't have year round topics, I doubt we'd maintain the number of good, quality users that we have. When you set something down for the time being, there's no guarantee you'll go back. We have good posters here who keep people interested, entertained, and broadening their horizons on other sports.

I love seeing Thanatos run away with the best debater award. There's a real passion in his posts that make me read them every single time. It might be the subject matter. It might be that you've locked horns with him and pissed him off (as I have, several times). At this point, I think it vital that I mention how much I respect a poster who can get into it with another but let it go so quickly and strike up respectful conversation later that day. I can't count how many times we've traded barbs in a thread only to be respectful and/or agreeing in another. One way or another, there's something incredibly valuable about a poster who debates well but doesn't take shit from anyone or hand it out, unwarranted. Glad to see he's being recognized by pretty much everybody.
