BwareDWare94 723 Posted November 18, 2015 YES. YES. YES. No more lack of a accountability for James Harden. No more embarrassing "come on, guys. Let's go, guys" mic'd up huddles. No more clueless looks when stuff ain't going right. No more Please name JB Bickerstaff the interim coach.

DonovanMcnabb for H.O.F 2,241 Posted November 18, 2015 He probably won't be unemployed for long, McHale and Houston just wasn't working. The issue is however that I really don't know how anyone would fix Houston without addressing the the fact that this is Harden's team, and they go how he goes. BwareDWare94 723 Posted November 18, 2015 How can Leslie Alexander make such a statement? Will he trade Harden, because he's the biggest perpetrator when it comes to lack of effort?
DonovanMcnabb for H.O.F 2,241 Posted November 19, 2015 (edited) That would be crazy. I saw the game against Dallas where he was at an all time low effort wise. I think the simplest way would be to bench him. The Rockets have developed an overall sense of being lazy largely because Harden, their front man is lazy when his offense isn't on, and McHale did nothing to stop him. A great coach like Pop would definitely toss his ass to the bench at that point. Edited November 19, 2015 by DonovanMcnabb for H.O.F
BwareDWare94 723 Posted November 19, 2015 ^This is exactly why I've wanted McHale fired for well over 2 years now. He has never, NEVER held James Harden accountable for his effort. It drove me crazy and let me tell one thing--JB Bickerstaff was the defensive specialist who installed last year's top 10 defense. I do not expect lack of effort to be tolerated by him. Personally, I thought Houston had their next coach when Kelvin Sampson was on the staff, and he filled in for McHale when his daughter died unexpectedly. Bickerstaff is fine by me but I really wish Sampson had never left.
