Washington won the teams' only meeting this season, 20-17 in Week 7. Washington had two turnovers last week vs. Houston after having two in its previous five games combined. The Redskins are 3-0 when committing zero turnovers, 3-2 when committing one, and 0-2 when committing multiple. The Cowboys' three games since their bye have all been won by the road team, after their first seven games were all won by the home team. Dallas is fourth in the NFL in both rushing yards per game (133.3) and yards per carry (4.94), but Washington is sixth in rushing defense (95.7 yards per game) and has allowed an NFL-low one carry of 20+ yards this season. With Alex Smith suffering a season-ending leg injury, the Redskins have just two healthy offensive players with a touch in every game: 33-year-old Adrian Peterson and injury-prone tight end Jordan Reed. Those two have combined for 1353 of Washington's 3315 yards this season. Ezekiel Elliott had 201 scrimmage yards last week, his second game this season with 200 or more. Elliott is the only NFL player this season with more than one such game, and his four career 200-yard games tie the franchise record held by Emmitt Smith and DeMarco Murray.
