I don't understand the numbers and all that but I will add this: the fact that there is a Euro market willing to pay a player millions to play for one season over there makes me think this lockout could last a long time. With the NFL, players were eager to get a deal done and get back on the field. There was always a sense of urgency at least. I don't see that in the NBA.
Both sides seem contempt on letting things ride out until one side gives in. Were already 4 weeks down.
The big difference of the NFL and NBA lockout is that the NBA actually needs one. If the NFL just stuck with the status quo, everyone would've still been fine. The NBA actually needs changes in order for the league to be profitable.

I can't believe I'm saying this but...I'd be nervous to play him. Our corners suck and he can do the deep ball very well.

Too bad. I disagree with JF4L. He's been productive this season, but not spectacular. Definitely a loss that hurts.

I'd say the player with the best shot for us is Dareus. Fred Jackson and Kyle Williams didn't become good until too late to have a real chance.
Actually, I guess if Shawne Merriman can legitimately turn it around he has a chance.

I wouldn't hire a woman gm. I just don't see agents and players taking her seriously in negotiations.

I'd be more worried but since we have so much cap space, better to spend it on him than nothing.

Honestly, I'd say George Wilson had a better game among Bills defenders.
For offense Fred Jackson was clearly our best player.
Didn't see better performances in the other games I saw, but obviously I missed a lot.

Eagles started slow and played dumb. I don't quite how Jaqua Parker was the only one of the 70,000 people there who didn't know what we were doing, but I'm not going to complain.

Well I think now Mizzou should stay put in the Big 12. Getting a top program like TCU should be enough to stabilize the conference.

The NCAA really cares if you change majors? I thought they'd just appreciate the athletes who are trying to get a degree.

Sabres should be better. Hopefully we don't stumble out of the gate like last year though. We'll probably be a 4-5 seed, though i could see us winning the division.

I don't know about that... I really haven't seen any indication of a solid fanbase there. I've seen the Jackets arena have around 3,000-4,500 people in attendence regularly.
Considering last year had the first blue jackets game ever with less than 10,000 people, I'm doubtful. The Blue Jackets had solid attendance over the years, and it just went down when the team has been consistently horrible. Give them a decent team and fans will return.

John Beck is a piece of garbage.
The Redskins O-Line can't block. We came into this weeks game with 4 sacks on the season. We now have 13.
The offense played pretty well for the most part, other than two bad turnovers.
Fred Jackson is a beast. We need to lock him up.
