Nobody has ever said steroids helps hand-eye-coordination. Why do all these pitchers take it? To recover faster. Why do POWER hitters take it? To hit more homeruns. No guy who hits .260 and is a singles hitter has ever been busted for PEDs. That's not the fucking point of taking them. Going from 30 to 40 homeruns helps your team win and it puts money in your bank account and extends your career. Did Manny, Barry, Sosa, Mcguire all take PEDs to help them beat out a bunt or get more opposite field singles?

Been listening to PFT Live this week (ironically, Florio is much better to listen to on the radio than to read on his site) and on Monday he had on Daniel Kaplan from Sports Business Journal and they talked a lot about NFLPA legal eagle, Jeffrey Kessler. This guy wants to basically destroy the NFL as we know it all in the name of "capitalism" and "free enterprise." He wants to abolish the NFL draft, claiming it violates some anti-trust laws. He strongly believes that NFL teams should have to recruit players out of college, OR high school, like universities do now and that there should be no salary cap or floor, so players can come and go when they please for whatever dollar amount they want. Also wants to abolish franchise and transition tags, so 5% of the players in the NFL will be making 95% of the teams payroll. He wants the MLB business model with the anybody can go anywhere they want mentality. Everybody coming out of college or high school is essentially an undrafted FA. And with no revenue sharing or salary cap, Jerry Jones can have a $300M payroll and the Bills can spend $60M. And yesterday, with Rich Eisen on PFT Live, they touched on Kessler again and what's really frightening is that Kessler has tried this tactic before in previous negotiations, but Gene Upshaw would yank his leash and make him heel. And De Smith and the NFLPA* aren't doing that right now. They're not necessarily agreeing with Kessler but they are letting him be more vocal and out front than previous times. Won't happen. Sting is too much of a pussy to go to WWE. He's turned down offers before, including a few months ago according to him himself. If he wasn't gonna do it now, he never will. Epic in name value only. Sting is terrible in the ring now and has been for several years. Much like his build-up to Starrcade 97 vs Hogan, the build-up would be great....the end result, not so much.

Snooki, surprisingly, was....pretty good. Did the "Kelly Kelly cartwheel into the handspring" routine. Snooki surprised a lot of people and is getting high marks from people who watched it. Morrison & Ziggler could have one of the best feuds of the year with some amazing matches if somebody would just give them half a fucking chance. Working nights I like to listen to a lot of podcasts. One thing that really annoys me is that when I download a podcast a lot of times instead of the podcast art, I get the generic art instead of the actual podcast art. Anybody know how to fix this? Some external program perhaps, because going into iTunes and clicking on "find missing album artwork" does nothing.

Cool. I'll give that a try. Can yuo copy and paste the artwork from iTunes and then put it in your library? You know...from the podcast directoy and into your podcast library? Oh, OK. I'll just go and spend $300 on a fucking Zune, that Microsoft has since stopped making as of a couple weeks ago, because I can't locate album art for my podcasts. Brilliant fucking solution. Wow...you just give this kind of brilliant advice out, free of charge, Lucy? People would pay top dollar for this stuff. I'll try that.

Interesting. Just "save as" from the web and then what...? Load it through iTunes? That's not a solution, Professor. It's a suggestion. A solution would be offering up an alternative to iTunes for podcasts.

What a phenomenal game UC2 is. Wow. Visually stunning. Great storyline. Extremely well written. Only gripe is I'm more of an XBox guy and using the smaller, more clumsy PS3 controller makes gameplay difficult at times. But I'm really thinking about getting UC1 and for sure can't wait for UC3 in November.
