    Here's an idea: Stop reaching over railings for a fucking baseball!! If you need a ball that badly then go spend $5 in the pro shop and the same damn ball they use during the game.

     

    Nothing needs to be done at these stadiums. People just need to stop being morons and reaching over railings and falling onto the field for a god damn BALL. You see mobs of grown ass men diving over, around, and on top of children and grandmothers to get a foul ball every single night on TV.

     

    It sucks he died and that his kid had to basically witness it....but it's not like an ounce of common sense wouldn't have prevented this....or the one last year as well.

    Ohio State vacating Big Ten, Sugar Bowl titles from 2010 season

    Ohio State will vacate its 2010 Big Ten and Sugar Bowl championships and all other games from last season as a self-imposed NCAA sanction, according to the school’s response to an NCAA Notice of Allegations.

     

    The response, released Friday, also includes two years of self-imposed probation and outlines increased compliance efforts and staffing.

     

    Perhaps what’s most surprising about the response is what it doesn’t include. OSU didn’t self-impose scholarship losses or a postseason ban. Many around college football expect them to be part of the program’s eventual punishment.

     

    Sources told The Columbus Dispatch that school leadership chose not to impose the more severe penalties because they feel only former coach Jim Tressel knew of the violations. The problems, they contend, revolve around an individual, not the Ohio State athletic department or its system of NCAA compliance.

     

    The NCAA Committee on Infractions will consider these sanctions when it meets with Ohio State officials Aug. 12. The committee can impose additional penalties both in this specific case and if it deems Ohio State a repeat offender. The Buckeyes in the last decade have been cited for violations by former quarterback Troy Smith and ex-men’s basketball coach Jim O’Brien.

     

    Buckeyes players selling gear and memorabilia at a local tattoo parlor, and Tressel not revealing his knowledge of the transactions to school or NCAA officials, compose the core of the scandal. It has led to Tressel’s departure, which athletic director Gene Smith admitted was forced, and quarterback Terrelle Pryor’s decision to leave school a year early and pursue an NFL career.

    Rep isn't totally anonymous. Go to your profile and click the "Reputation" tab near the top. You'll see a full list of rep you've received, who repped you, and a link that takes you to the exact post that got repped.

     

    Oh, and by the way, when you receive rep for a certain post, you can click the green/red +1/-1, or whatever it is, and you'll see a list of people who have repped that post.

    I think the whole rep thing things to be tweaked. It's pretty pathetic when somebody goes back several weeks to a dead topic just to give somebody negative rep because they got sand in their vagina over what was said in a completely different topic.

     

    I think positive or negative rep should at least be linked back to the person. I don't like the anonymity. I've repped some people before and would like to at least have them know I did it but they won't unless I PM them or post that I did (so this works both ways).

     

    Your box should read "negged or repped by ______) so you know.

    Quit your bitching. The Internet is exploding in outrage over the verdict, yet 75% of the people are ignorant to the legal system. They have no idea what 1st Degree Murder means, nor do they understand that in a criminal trial you must be beyond reasonable doubt to convict someone, and you must have all 12 jurors feel the same way.

     

    I haven't seen all of the evidence, so I won't comment on whether or not I think she's guilty. I'll just say again that if she did it, she will pay in the end, and her little daughter Caylee is in heaven.

    Of course they're going to say how good he is....what band in history has ever replaced a member and said "well....he kinda sucks, but we're gonna roll with him anyways. Hope you guys like it." In a six degrees-type thing, A7X said the exact same thing about Arin Ilejay. As Van Halen once did about Hagar, etc etc etc.

    Bengals receiver Chad Ochocinco is continuing to insist that he’ll do as he pleases during the lockout, and the scoffing from Bengals owner Mike Brown that he wants football players, not bull riders or alligator wrestlers, is only going to make Ochocinco feel more strongly.

    Ochocinco also said that if Bengals coach Marvin Lewis is going to side with Brown over him, then he may need to whip Lewis’s ass.

     

    “Hopefully Marvin is doing this maybe to help me out,†Ochocinco said. “Maybe he is trying to cause friction between himself and me. Maybe he doesn’t like me for real.     Ochocinco also weighed in on a couple of teammates, saying he hasn’t talked to Carson Palmer but is confident Palmer won’t return to Cincinnati, and saying that he knew nothing at all about Terrell Owens‘ torn ACL. Apparently that was one scoop the Ochocinco News Network wasn’t able to get.
