  3. via The Guardian I find myself so torn by this issue. On one hand, I want this guy to suffer and I want every last piece of information squeezed from him so we can understand the entire scope of the bombers intentions. One the other hand, what separates us from the animals and other cruel government (You know, we claim such a moral high ground) is our demand for justice, that we deal with criminals fairly and ethically. How are we any better than places like Afganistan, N Korea or any of the other governments ran by the cruel unless we show we can deal with evil with goodness?

    Charles Ramsey 911 call

Also, that homoerotic picture of Ray Lewis is a little disturbing.

    Charles Ramsey 911 call

This is near my house, fucked up shit. I figured those girls were dead. Apparently he is proud of his internet fame. Hey bro, check this out alright. That 911 op was a little rude tho, for real brah.
  8. I don't know about that. Field size, players on the field, ball size, number of downs, etc, etc, and a ton of other tactical rules are different in the NFL vs the CFL that would require some coaching tactics to change or require a different mindset. Sure the NCAA is different from the NFL and there are certainly evidence to show that most NCAA coaches cannot succeed in the NFL and here is a list of coaches that were hired from the CFL to the NFL: http://www.footballgeography.com/?p=4207 only 2 of 7 were successful hires?
  9. I think it's more that he's been out of the NFL for so long vs his being a coach in the CFL. I mean, he was helping Bernie in the 1980's. Some fear that even a coach like Cowher or Gruden might have lost touch with coaching and would struggle as they relearn how to coach in the NFL. tl;dr - Coaching in the CFL is a lot different than coaching in the NFL. He has been out of the NFL for a long time.
  10. Chud has some really fantastic coordinators on his staff and a young player base. I think he will have a lot of success his first year.
  11. It's easy to laugh or point fingers at this guy, it really is. But remember, he is a human being with major mental issues. He needs help as DMac pointed out. It's a very unfortunate situation. I felt the same about Ryan Leaf, and look what happened with him. Maybe Titus needs to be committed to an institution until whatever is wrong with him can be figured out? I'm not a fan of commitment, but damn. Kid needs help.

    LOL Bleacher Report!

If you knew what i did for a living you'd not that I already have AdBlock, plus a whole host of anonymity apps to go along with it. NoScript & Ghostery is probably better for Bleacher Report anyways. I run a very lean browser.

    Regarding Cam Newton

I don't follow him enough to list off all the ways for you. I'm not your bitch, do your own research. All I can base my opinion on is how his teammates react to him, that is telling to me. I've mentioned above about his growth and hope to see him continue to grow. I don't know that he is embracing the role of a leader, that has yet to be seen. We can't take things players say at face value. They often lie or confuse the situation. Just reading this tells me all I need to know about his growth as it stands right now, hopefully he improves: http://aol.sportingnews.com/nfl/story/2012-12-07/cam-newton-carolina-panthers-leadership-nfl-stats-week-14-fantasy-qb

    Regarding Cam Newton

lol, he loves the camera? What the fuck is he, a model? Get that shit out of here. He's not fuckin Cindy Crawford. He's an NFL quarterback. He is supposed to lead a ~1 billion dollar team to a championship, not be a glamor model. He's not held to the same standards as your typical 23 year old. He is the face of a franchise and making millions of dollars. He was and still is being groomed to be a leader. His age is not an excuse. There are professions where your age is a non factor in terms of leadership ability. If he doesnt like the responsibilities that go along with his profession, he knows how to get out.

    Regarding Cam Newton

Ok, so he's growing. Until he fully becomes the leader he needs to be and not trying to be that leader, he will continue to be criticized. He's very charismatic and I'd love to see him be a good leader on top of a skillful player.

    Regarding Cam Newton

What exactly are you tying to prove, Thanato19? You bring out one guy that says he's growing into his role, I'm assuming after win where everyone is jazzed up. What do they say about him after a loss? That's where you find the real story. Is you're argument that Cam is the teams leader?

    Regarding Cam Newton

Cam is a superbly gifted athlete. He can do whatever he needs to do on the field. That hasn't been the knock on him. His knock has been his maturity and I think that is something he will grow in to. Nolans article wasnt far off, except the fake smile low-blow. His teamates have all be vocal on Cam's lack of maturity it's not news to anyone. Again, I think he'll grow into it. He's young and he's just as good, athletically, as most QBs in the league.
