  1. I don't even know if it's worth it, but can we get TR off the Browns skin? Maybe put whomever is our new 1st rounder or ol' reliable, Joe Thomas? Shit, I'd even go for some throwback players. If there are not enough gfx people, I can take a stab at cutting a player out.

  2. Source

Once the new league year begins on Tuesday at 4:00 p.m. ET, players restricted by the franchise tag can start entertaining offers from teams that would be willing: (1) to pay them a lot of money; and (2) to give up two first-round draft picks to make it happen.

It’s highly unusual for franchise players to be signed to offer sheets, because teams regard any unused first-round picks as potential Hall of Fame players. Chiefs linebacker Justin Houston could become the exception, for various reasons.

First, he enters the process after completing a 22-sack season. No player with that kind of performance has been available on the heels of it, with or without compensation.

Second, he’s motivated to move on. Per multiple sources, Houston is very upset with the Chiefs. It’s believed that he’ll actively solicit an offer sheet in the hopes the Chiefs won’t match it.

If an offer sheet doesn’t happen before the 2015 draft, something could happen after the draft, because at that point a team signing him would give up first-round picks in 2016 and 2017. For a coach or G.M. who may be fired at the end of the season, giving up draft picks they may not be there to use is a small price to pay.

As previously explained, Houston is considering staying away from the Chiefs until Week 10 of the regular season, the deadline for showing up and completing enough of the season to become a free agent next year.

  3. I'm also not a real fan of Jim, but he has talent and he proved it during his stint with the 9ers. The sucky thing is now he'll be the coach of my most hated rival. Muck Fichigan.

How does this even happen? Can't they be adults and recognize you don't have to get along and all that matters is winning?

  4. Is there a single player on Cleveland's roster who wants to be in Cleveland?

Joe Haden, Joe Thomas, Andrew Hawkins, shit most of them. He's not being utilized right now like he was under Norv Turner.

A single player? lol Try a single Clevelander. They'll claim that they love their town and all that jazz, but if any one of them got a job down south or out west or out east they couldn't leave fast enough. Cleveland must be like prison for a rich person. It's at least gotta be as bad as house arrest. I mean, it's Cleveland. I challenge any of you to go there for a week to see all there is to see and tell me I'm wrong...

Add to that the fact that this organization has been a joke from top to bottom since Art Model left—that's right, I said it—and why would you expect anything more from a guy who can get paid extra to LEAVE CLEVELAND! No brainers take no brains to figure out.

Dude. Fuck you. I've worked in Boston, San Francisco and Miami and have always come back. I love my city. I'm sorry you live in the shithole known as Akron - aka Clevelands bitch.

  5. My mom was a JW while I grew up. I think it's nothing more than a cult at this point and maybe it always was. I can got into specifics if needed, but let's just say they control your every move and they ignore science.

  6. Yippee. It's almost like we shouldn't even go to camp at all with anyone behind the helm. Shit, Hoyer is better this player. I would have been ok with Sam Bradford even knowing his history.

This franchise will never turn around unless we get a beast (Matt Ryan and up) quality QB. We'll be forever stuck in the lower end of mediocrity if we're lucky.

  7. I almost included A.J. Green, but then I realized that he's already 26. That qualifier made the exercise a lot more difficult.

I included him as a 26 and under. If we only want 25 year olds and younger - it does make it a bit more difficult.

In any case here's my list of guys.

Johnny Manziel (Cleveland seems ready to crown him, why not Canton?) hahaha

No one in Cleveland is ready to crown Manziel with anything.
